@2:11 Kotzen : the real deal...the original sound. Original FEEL of what that song encompassed....his first note and I was transported instantly back to the moment I first heard that.
Solid pairing..So cool Eric and Ritchie .. doing justice to Masters Steve and Peter... Not to miss the bassline and drum licks all along. Music just ruled once again . Cheers
Richie sounds like Clem Clemson. I grew up when Richie was in local bands in my area of Reading Pa., he always stood out as a prodigy on guitar, not surprising he made it big. I am surprised he is doing Pie covers though.
He has over 20 albums he's done as a solo artist,, has been a member of several big groups & has collaborated with a bunch of different well known musicians. He's probably created & played on over 150 originals. Nothing wrong with doing a cover now & then.
@@birage9885 You do know that Mr. Big did a studio cover over 20 years ago of this song when Paul Gilbert was the guitarist, right. I'm going to guess playing a cover of a song Mr. Big has played for decades was not a Richie decision. If that was a concert I'm sure 90% of the other songs they played then were original Mr. Big songs.
@@CBDguitar Okay Chris. What started out for me as a positive comment for Richie has somehow become read into too much. All I was saying is that Richie is a great player, and I was just surprised to hear him do a Pie song. Nothing more intended. Peace out.
All the haters...wtf. Ritchie nails it veey well. Bamd is in fine form and version is soulful as fuck. Whatever your issues are with it ....give your head a shake
Trying to match Steve Mariott is a lot to ask of any singer. These guys do a heck of job! Richie comes close... damn close! And musically I hear what Humble Pie did with a slightly modern twist. Will look for a version with Paul Gilbert later.
Ilike the Kickaxe version of this song.If you don't know who kickaxe is find their version .Let's put it this way, slightly a little heavier. You may enjoy it . They also have song called heavy metal shuffle .This was pre Poison, Warrant, Mr.Big , and other bands like that.Give'er a listen you may like it it.
@@davidcook4623 bass player put the band together but original guitar player was Paul Gilbert. Ritchie came in a few years later. And yes they should have released the Kraken/Kotzen
hell they did this fricken awsome !!all around the best rocken role song of all time.. greasy whore and a rolling dance floor..lol who would a thought that?? mmmm guess humble pie!!! but mr.big jumped on the ride and made a good remake of it..
Richie Kotzen is a fucking monstrous player, but I think Paul Gilbert was a better foil for Eric Martin. His little fills and stuff on this song in particular injected humor and fun into it, where Kotzen seems to take himself really seriously. On the flip side, hearing Kotzen sing this is sooo great
What a great musician Richie is,love his playing and voice.
@2:11 Kotzen : the real deal...the original sound. Original FEEL of what that song encompassed....his first note and I was transported instantly back to the moment I first heard that.
richie's voice...holy fuck!
Richie Kotzen..... i know you're Great!
Love It! This is the moment that Richie Kotzen became a star! WOW!
Happened well before this. He elevated Poison and became the star
He was already famous before this gig, my friend.
Richie Kotzen is the star here !
Richie has a great voice.
Richie's voice, guitar tone and playing is suited to Mr. Big.
This song just grows on ya🍁🍁🍁
Excellent opening harmonies!
Eric and Ritchie are my favorite male singers
Epic, love this 😆
RK mostrando para o que veio! Nada de ser só um guitarrista virtuosíssimo com uma cara linda, tem que cantar melhor que o Eric Martin tb hehe. Amo!
Sounds great!

Frampton was already gone when they recorded this song.
@@mikefearon5507 Yes Clempson was the one on this, thanx for correcting
Shit! What a TALENT that Kotzen is! I hate him.
been a hp fan since the beginning ,, these guys did alright ,, liked the lead guitarist voice
Ritchie has an amazing voice. His guitar tone and attack is phenomenal.
ALL HAIL STEVE MARRIOTT!!!!!!!
@annmarie0331 This song was written by Steve Marriott and not Frampton. Peter had already left the Band when 30 days was recorded for the Smokin albun
Kotzen is a beast!
This made the playlist
Wow this looks like it was recorded in the 1800s.
The great richieKotzen
I'll work on some more...I love his tone here.
"I can't do without Pat."
We can't do without Pat huhu.
For me, Richie Kotzen singing better than Eric Martin, and much better than Paul Gilbert. His voice are amazing!
Paul is great but sterile. Richie has soul
@@daveg4236 nice!

@@CBDguitar That wasn't meant as a criticism. Just that he picked Pie to do as covers, and that isn't a Pie criticism either.

Gimme my relief 🙂
Humble Pie
Never knew Mike Myers could sing like that.
Wide Azz Open when Pie came out kicking ass , yeah baby, I was there, actually had just finished 30 days 😂
Kotzen - making the band’s lead singer obsolete, again.
HUMBLE PIE
Is that Ralph Macchio singing?

@@vivarantx You've lost your mind. Steve Marriott completely blows this away.
@@hooskerdu1 Even Steve wouldn`t say that.

Richie is any man would jealous of. What a complete package. Awesome singing.
Great tribute. Steve Marriott is probably one of the least credited vocalist and guitarist. Thanks for this rendition!
lol! singer looks 15 years old here
Ritchie's voice is somethin'
Ricky Martin He has a great voice ☺👍
Ricky? The Latino singer isn't in this band
@johnmckenna80 Humble Pie with the great Steve Mariott did the original.
kotze is the fucking man
Funny that this was played/recorded in Korea. I bet maybe 1/8th of that audience had ever heard of this song. lol.
cgraber 1/8th? That's an interesting fraction 😂
Guitarist should of carried it almost like watching steve again when they let him run with it
Agreed. I'm not familiar at all, with this group; sorry! Lead singer does a fine job, but the guitarist tears it up.
@@davidcook4623 Mr Big is badass! They formed in my high school days, late 80s...

They did record it. On their first album, 1989s Mr Big.
Billy Sheehan is the BEST and da beast ! Great performer too. All here. Top level performers. But. Savant bass playr
Eric and Ritchie singing on the same song....not much more to ask for....
Which ones are male?
Were you trolling to get pegged?
When listening to this you understand how great Steve Marriott was as a singer. Sorry guys - you cannot even hold a candle to Steve

Richie talented and HOT...... Mercy
Got a ways before he's as good as Steve Marriott.
Let Richie sing alone, Erick go to sleep! xdxd
great song!!! lol richie is small, like the singer hahahaha xD
Richie is better than Eric.
Well of course he is.
Meh, you will never touch Humble Pie and the great Steve Marriott. The most underrated band of all time.
Started good, but quickly made me miss Steve Marriot. Changing the melody and phrasing was a mistake. Why fuck with perfection?
Ritchie is great as always............... the band and the song is middle of the road boring.
Guitarist doesn't have the chord changes right. Good attempt by the singer. Tough to sing.
