I fitted a universal kit from the makers in China, I fitted it to my CECTEK as it had very heavy steering when backing a Trailer. It appears to work and the little light glows OK. BUT the effort it gives is not really noticeable and really pathetic. The voltage it seems MUST be over 12.7 Volts or it does give anything worth having.
Put this same unit on my 2016 Polaris 570 sportsman ES 4x4 and after getting all back together, I noticed my handlebars were cocked left a little? Aligned it and took it for a drive. Noticed it turns left real good left but when I turn right it is not as tight of a turn? I think my front wheels were not perfectly straight as should have been when I stabbed my top shaft? Don't make the same mistake or you will be pulling it apart again to repair!

hello robert just want to ask you how happy are you with the power steering kit? please let me know if it is worth the money... I have big tires on my atv and to turn them you have to have lunch before =) thanks
Love it. I use to only be able to ride for an hours before my shoulders would start hurting. Now I ride all weekend 100+ miles and no issue. Also works great while show plowing. Definitely worth the money. I wish I would have done it sooner !!!!!
I am in mud and water frequently , works great,only problem is would not fit without grinding on the steering box to make it fit without hitting the gas tank,also i took out the radiator and mounted up on top with a rad relocation kit. made the installation much easier

Bob, great video watched it 3 times already. I am told by SuperATV that this will not fit the carb model 500HO. Can you tell me how much space you have on yours between the gas tank and the center of the mounting hole for the motor on the frame. It appears to be the same as mine and I may have to grind the motor as well for it to fit. Thanks. Dean
I installed this on my 08 500 HO carb machine . the only way I got it to fit was a radiator relocation kit and then install the power steering motor turned in the opposite direction (180 degrees ) along with the mounting bracket
DEAN HOLSTON Did you ever end up getting the kit installed? I have 2010 500HO and saw the kits are only listed for the EFI models. I assumed it was due to clearance issues, and your post seems to confirm that.
The blue wire is the speed control. You'll need to connect it to the wire wire that plugs into the speedometer. You can see on Minute 9:20 on the video

We love night riding and some of the trails we ride are pretty hairy. We can use as much light as possible.

They need to make actual bolt of kits for all atvs with no power steering

Just make sure that your gas tank isn't rubbing on the Power steering motor.

Did you have A problem with the gas tank petcock? i ground down motor the tank itself fits but the petcock butts up against the motor

im not Rob (cheapo cheapo) i installed this on mu 0-7 sportsman about a year ago and it been perfect better than expected
