Please explain how you screwed the screws in from the outside.
Do it pull plugs out from the soil?
no. only punctures the soil with nail size holes ripped horizontally, no plugs pulled. Works pretty well though in our hard clay ground.

Was inserting the screws some sort of magic trick we cant know about?
Hahaha no the holes were big enough that I just reached my arm in and pushed them through from the inside. :-)
