Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.
Government policy has thrown the future under the bus for decades. The day of judgment is near. I predict an 80% drop in the stock market. Investors will abandon stocks in favor of real estate. There will be no money in banks... You must devise a strategy for survival.
As a new investor it's always great to hear from a person who has gone through all the difficult times and come ahead of it. What are some strategies i can employ to be successful?
Think VOO, QQQ and SCHD as different types of cars. QQQ (or any growth based ETF) is like a truck where it has high top speed, but poor acceleration. When things are going good, growth ETFs are always going to grow the most. When a market crash hits, however, it will coming to a grinding halt and it takes forever to get rolling again. These are great for young people who just entered the workforce and can afford their retirement accounts to take a big hit during a recession. Dividend ETFs like SCHD are the opposite: they have great acceleration, but won't top out as much. As you get older you'd want to shift to these to preserve your wealth. VOO/VTI is like a Honda Civic: it's not the fastest and flashiest, but it's consistent and reliable.
Or you could do Qqq as your "growth" Schd as your "bond" When qqq goes down invest more into it When qqq is out growing schd invest into schd and at end of year equal them back out or any ratio you want That way qqq is helping grow schd and schd is growing better than a typical bond and also helping buy more qqq as it drops and qqq is helping grow schd when needed.
This is really impressive, hope you don't mind if I ask you to recommend this particular professional you use their service? I have quite a lots of difficulty sorting myself out in this downtime.
Thanks for sharing this. I curiously searched for her full name and her website came up top search. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her. Once again many thanks
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
@DawsonCamden The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
I started my 250k portfolio last year with SCHD, VOO, and VUG after watching one of your videos. In terms of share price, VOO is way up (22.25%) and VUG is waaaay up (39.62%). Thanks for the education! Will this provide solid cashflow?
@SlowrideHome91 I've been considering getting one, but haven't been proactive about it. Can you recommend your advisor? I could really use some assistance.
thank you for putting this out, it has rekindled the fire to my goal... was able to spot Jennifer after inputting her full name on the web, she seems highly professional with over a decades of experience.
Stocks extended their year-to-date rally following the CPI report, with the S&P 500 last up 0.8% in afternoon trading. but I don't know if stocks will quickly rebound, continue to pull back or move sideways for a few weeks, or if conditions will rapidly deteriorate.I am under pressure to grow my reserve of $250k.
It's really hard to beat the market as a mere investor. It's just better if you invest with the help of a professional understands the market dynamics better.
I agree, having a brokerage advisor for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $2m with the help of my advisor from an initial $350k investment.
I'm being guided by “Leila Simoes Pinto’’ who is widely recognized for her competence and expertise in the financial market. She has a thorough understanding of portfolio diversification and is regarded as an authority in this field.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
I can't predict the future & I'm terrible in timing the market. So I just buy great companies at reasonable prices and hold them for the long term. If the market drops, all the better, I'll just add more to my positions in great companies. I sleep well at night regardless of what the fund managers or the markets are doing. Before the latest drop in the market was down to $95K now up to about $200K
I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.!!
Can't advice you on the best approach i'm not a pro but will recommend you speak with an FA their constant advice and guidance on the best stocks to buy is top notch

I'm not even kidding when I say that the market crash and high inflation have me really stressed out and worried about retirement. I've been in the red for a while now and although people say these crisis has it perks, I'm losing my mind but I get it, Investing is a long-term game, so I try to focus on the long term.
I cannot focus on the long run when I should be retiring in 4years, you see l've got good companies in my portfolio and a good amount invested, but my profit has been stalling, does it mean this recession/ unstable market doesn't provide any calculated risk opportunities to make profit?
I completely agree, I have been consistent with my profit regardless of the market conditions, I got into the market early 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me so I sold off, got back in Dec 2020 this time with guidance from an investment adviser that was recommended by a popular economist on a popular forum, long story short, its been years now and I've gained over $850k following guidance from my investment adviser.
Alright,if that is the case, it would be an innovative suggestion to look out for Financial Advisors like Olivia Maria Lucas who can help shape up your portfolio. Trying times are ahead, and good personal financial management will be very important to weather the storm.
Olivia Maria Lucas seem to know her stuff well. I found her website, read through her resume, educational background, qualifications and it was really impressive. She is a fiduciary who will act in my best interest. So, I booked a session with her
I want to diversify my portfolio across different stocks and sectors to minimize risk. I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions, how do I achieve this?
Remember that investing in the stock market carries risks, and it’s important to do your own research and consult with a financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
I was able to diversify my $550K portfolio across different markets with the help of an investment advisor, and in just a few months, I was able to generate over $950K in net profit from high dividend paying stocks, ETFs, and bonds.
I just googled her name and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a call.
I wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income, and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made.

@@mariahhayes5089 "I invest across the top markets but not by myself though. I follow the guidelines of 'MARGARET ANN WARNKEN" I can correctly say she's worth her salt as an investment advisor as her diversification skills is top-notch, I say this because of the results, as my portfolio grows by averages of 20 to 3O% every month, unlike I can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what she places and not just on some particular industries of my choosing. she gave me that financial freedom I needed".

QQQ is great in technology booming periods, but is really bad in bearish periods. VOO/IVV are more consistent. S&P 500 for my 401k and IRA. SCHD is great for any period because it is 85% large cap value.
I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?
Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience. If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert
The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.
My CFA NICOLE ANASTASIA PLUMLEE a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market..
QQQ thrived with low interest rates, which are great for growth stocks. Now they'll have to borrow money at a higher rate so I don't expect that it will continue to overperform. But who knows?
As an investing enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $745K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
People spend their money when they have it. And when they have more money, some people tend to spend it more. You should speak with a financial expert if you wish to improve your financial management.
It's getting more interesting you and Gary Joe Wilde are highly recommendable investing experts every investor who wants to get rich investing must know or work with Unfortunately, don't know why Gary deleted his video channels. He is very advanced and experienced in the field.
I prefer Gary's trading method different perspective, different technique exactly what I wanted as a beginner. In all honesty, I have made over 40K in a few months copytrading him. I wish I had known about him earlier than I did.
Definitely you should invest for the long term and dollar cost average. I think a combination or blend of different ETF`s is the best way to go. Which ETF`s depends on your own personal situation.
A Friend told me Saving at least 15% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. is this a good way to potentially grow my retirement savings to about $3M over time?
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.
*Sharon Louise Count* is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Impressive, i’ll most definitely check her out. I buy the idea of employing the services of a Financial Advisor because finding that balance between saving and living requires counsel.
Not sure how much you make or how your 401k is invested. But I know my 401k does not have a lot of options in regards to investments. I would check with someone to make sure your 401k is actually growing as it should in this current market. I know the target funds at my job suck, so I opt out and invested in something else. Rule of thumb is to only invest up to your company match in a 401k. Unless your seeking to lower your taxable income at the end of the year or at a good balance. Second, if your within the income level open up your own IRA account. A self manage IRA account has better investment options such as QQQ, VTI, VOO, SPY etc. Contribute and max it out. Any spillage can easily be invested into regular ETF stocks throughout the year in your brokerage account. Once your ready to retire you have 2 retirement accounts and an investment portfolio of ETF stock. Investing isn't hard or complex, place your eggs into the baskets and let it ride.
Nice presentation. For future modeling, it is probably best to model 20-30 years of historical returns. 10 years is rather short. I do understand that for some of these funds, they don't have that much of a track record.
My spouse and I are diversifying our long-term investment portfolio by adding various stocks and ETFs. We've allocated $220k to begin with, focusing on inflation-indexed bonds and companies with strong cash flows. I think the current market presents a good opportunity for long-term gains, but I'm also interested in learning ways to make short-term profits.
What're your thoughts on a good ETF that you would hold to go along with QQQ in an IRA? I still have a long way to go. Don't mind risk. But is there an etf in here you like in addition to QQQ that covers different sectors?
@@theresagarcia1218 Hello. I'm actually looking for a good trader that can help me trade and make good profit, I've been seeing so many recommendations but I don't think they're trusted. Please do you have any recommendations?

It's best to seek an advisor right now, unless you're canny yourself. As a business owner in both the service industry and eBay reseller of all product categories, I can tell you we’re in a deep recession and everyone is running out of money.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invst decisions being guided by a invst-advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a invst-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over $900K.

80% stocks 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a large $5m stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk of inflation.
I believe that diversifying your investments is the safest way to handle it. One way to lessen the effects of a market crisis is to distribute investments over a variety of asset classes, such as international equities, bonds, and real estate. It's critical to look for expert advice.
In fact, despite having no experience or prior knowledge when I began investing in 2018, by the end of 2019 I had made a profit of over $750k. I had merely been adhering to the advice that my financial counselor had given me. This demonstrates that all you really need is an expert to assist you; you don't even need to be a great investor or put in a lot of work.
I've been in the red for the past couple months, lost 12k last week alone, Indubitably I've got good companies but profit is still stalling, how did you go around finding an investment-advisor, I wouldn't mind looking yours up.
I have been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories. One way to minimize the anxiety out of stock market investing, is to make sure you keep a large cash cushion. I invest in the market, but never put all my money in market.
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
The issue is most people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt, no offense. In general, Financial Consultants are ideal reps for investing jobs, and at firsthand encounter, since Jan.2020, amidst covid outbreak, my portfolio has yielded massively in ROI, summing up to 7-figures as of today.

I've been working with ‘’Rachel Sarah Parrish” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, Look her up.
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my portfolio for retirement of about $750k. I want to know: Do I keep contributing to my portfolio in these unstable markets, or do I look into alternative sectors?
I stopped listening and taking financial advise from these UA-camrs, because at the end of the day, I end up with a bunch of confusing stocks without knowing when to take profit, In reality, all I needed was professional advice.
My consultant is Nicole Desiree Simon She has since provide entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. You can look her up online if you care for supervision.
I just checked her up online, and I must admit that she has an extremely outstanding experience in investment. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to send her an email right away
I think investors should always put their cash to work, especially In 2024, we'll start to see more market diversification. I'm hoping to invest about $350k of my savings in stocks against next year. Hope to make millions in 2024
Yes true, I have been in touch with a brokerage Advisor. With an initial starting reserve of $80k, my advisor chooses the entry and exit commands for my portfolio, which has grown to approximately $550k.
I have all three etfs. I am most comfortable with schd less downside and decent dividends.I will keep all till I retire at least. Great video for learning and earning purposes.
I started investing because I liked getting money from stock dividends. My strategy is not just to rely on dividends but also to make extra money through investments. This way, I can live off dividends without selling stocks, and it might help my kids too. I've put more than $600K into dividend stocks over the years, and I'm still buying more, especially when prices drop.
Receiving guidance from a seasoned investor who has weathered crises and thrived is reassuring. While seeing your portfolio shift from gains to losses can be concerning, sticking to well-established companies and continuing to nurture your investments is key. Stay focused on your goals, and the potential for growth remains, even amid temporary market fluctuations.
Thanks, your the first person that has explained why you might want tp buy schd over qqqm even though it vastly putperforms schd. I think ill go with a split portfolio between qqqm and schd so i get growth and still hedge against market downturns even yhough i dont plan to sell for a long time.
Interesting to note a year later that QQQ is up 18%, SCHD is flat, and VOO is up 8% from when the numbers for this video were taken. Tech remains a strong investment area.
I believe JEPI and JEPQ could fit well into my portfolio as I approach retirement. How can I maintain a high-risk investment strategy to pursue higher yields until I reach at least 55?
Adding JEPI and JEPQ is smart for nearing retirement. As for staying committed to higher-risk investments, it's all about balancing your risk tolerance with your long-term goals. Maybe consider diversifying your portfolio to spread out the risk.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 67% profit in 18 months
I actually subscribed for a few trading courses but it didn't help much, been getting suggestions to use a proper financial advisor, how did you go about touching base with your coach?
The last time tech or qqq outperformed like this was the top in Mar 2000, then qqq melted away 80% of it's gains in a little over 2 yrs down to 25. If you bought near the top you would have to wait 14 yrs to break even in 2014. qqq pretty much took a rest for 10 yrs. I would have way more in SCHD going forward in 2022 and be happy getting the dividend.
I hear what you’re saying. Here is a good resource to solidify what you’re saying indexes.nasdaqomx.com/docs/QQQInsight%20PowerShares.pdf I guess it comes down to… has Invesco learned from the past to make sure that doesn’t happen again? Who knows? They hold Apple and MsFT at 22%… is this risky? I think Warren Buffett holds more Apple as a percentage than this. Ultimately, This is one of the reasons I said at the end… please diversify and hold long term. But thank you for keeping us younger bucks who have only been in the market for less than 10yrs keeping our feet on the ground lol and sharing a snapshot of the long term history
Great video, I've been interested in investing ever since I came across articles of people making up to $150,000 and more in this period, thanks for the video but is it really possible for a retail investor to achieve this in months?
I've purchased numerous stocks in individual firms. Because there are so many stocks that will skyrocket in the long run, it is currently safe to buy in on ETF and ride it out. Due to fud, I sold out early, but then retraced my ways and re-invested $350,000 with a financial advisor who manages my account. I received an 82% return last year and will see where it goes this year.
This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.
'Carol Vivian Constable, a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
A year later QQQ has continued to outperform by a huge margin. Next is VOO. And then coming in a distant third is SCHD. I agree with everything you talk about, but the one thing I do different is I switch up what I buy when the market has a big movement down. The pandemic brought us two major market downturns to take advantage of -- this is the time to get aggressive and go with growth/tech. Cheers!
Investing in stocks could seem easy, but choosing the right stock without a tested plan might be difficult. For the longest time, I've been attempting to grow my $210,000 portfolio, but the largest obstacle is the absence of a well-defined entrance and exit strategy. On this subject, any input would be really appreciated.
The strategies are tough for the everyday person. They are mainly executed successfully by professionals who have a considerable amount of skill and knowledge to execute such trades.
Several individuals minimize the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm afloat. I looked for licensed advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k despite inflation.
'Laurelyn Gross Pohlmeier' a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
Same 3 ETFs since 2021 -YTD is a different story. SCHD is outperforming over the last 1.83 years. Now, is that significant? Safer? or a reason to have both. I like VGT or FTEC over QQQ for its very similar performance with a much lower ER.
Question about SCHD. So if i put a 100,000 into SCHD I would have 1317 shares at 0.7034 which is 926. Now since it pays quarterly is that 926 a month or 926 divided by 3 which is 308 a month. I could never figure that out. Right now I have JEPI, JEPQ and BSTZ which pay my house payment. I think SCHD would be good for growth!
Thanks for the video! By the way: I have the OKX Wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (job priority warm lab border boil monkey manage palace fiber weird ask). How can I send them to Binance?
QQQ always been good based on historical data. I agree it does drop at harder than most but it gains more than others. One can easily diluite QQQ with SPLV or SCHD to minimize the violatity.
Thank you. Please note that although QQQ came out in top, the numbers on the comparison are hard to read. It would have been more helpful if you would actually say what the ending amount for each investment at the end of 10 years.
don't ever panic sell. if anything, buy more as it goes down. that's why it's important to have cash on hand for those moments when prices drop. think of it as a sale at your favorite store.
Just a ten year backtest is a very narrow historical range. Did you know that some equity indices returned zero for certain decades throughout history? Also, QQQ outperformed due to lower interest rates but that is reversing. It's not as easy as: "Just buy the highest returning index the past ten years and sit on it."
Several of the biggest market experts have been voicing their opinions on exactly how awful they think the next downturn would be, and how far equities may have to go, as recession draws closer and inflation continues well above the Fed's 2% objective. I'm trying to build a portfolio of at least $850k by the time I'm 60, therefore I need suggestions on what investments to make.
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started my business. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.
FTEC , MGK is better PERFORMANCE add VIG or VYM for dividend. The market always revert back to the MEANS so just buy VOO or VTI for a one fund portfolio add VIG for 2 fund portfolio.
I'm trying to understand when you say diversify when qqq is starting to go down, so dont sell but hold and buy other etf's? or buy more qqq to dollar cost ave?
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.
The pandemic came and taught everyone the importance of having multiple stream of income, unfortunately having a nice paying job doesn't mean you are financial secured anymore. So we all need to put in an extra-income earning chance, like investments.
Investment is that tiny line that separates the RICH from the POOR. The foolish from wise sorry to say. I can proudly say I am wise today because I can provide for my family through my investments.
Thanks for video. That’s cool and all but you need to see how the numbers would look if we have the next 5-10 years of recession/depression where we have flat to negative growth in stocks. Let’s be honest the future 10 years will not be like the last 10. Thank you
@@JimTheProducer 👍👌great! I have been back testing variations of tqqq portfolio's seems like contributions when there is a 10%, 20% drop help the volatility drag a lot. Also. Touch of EDV or TMF help if contributions aren't added.
Here is a good case for how much time you are leaving the money in. If withdrawal is 1 to 5 years, then SCHD may be the best choice. However, if 10 years or more, then the qqqm is better. Now, looking at the qqq with the recent drop, it may be the best regardless. I have noticed in the last 30 days. The 500 is lagging the qqq.
Its always strange to me that we say market is forward looking yet everyone tries to predict the next 30 years growth based on just this last decade when we have had nothing but ZIRP and a huge deficit with extreme QE...if all that continues for the next 10-30 years $1m wont even cover 5 years worth of retirement. will not be shocked at all to see the next 10 years of QQQ look like 2000-2010 rather than 2010-present
How do we even mention QQQ in the same breath as VOO and SCHD? I really hope investors seeing that scary thumbnail and not clicking don't get the wrong idea
I've been hesitant to invest in the present market, but I believe it's the greatest moment to get started. I heard one person talk about making over a million dollars with $450,000 in cash, and I'm left wondering what talent and plan would yield such a return.
Avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
Based on my own experience working with an investment advisor, I currently have $1 million in a well-diversified portfolio that has grown exponentially. It takes more than just money to invest in stocks; you must also be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands.
"Laurelyn Gross Pohlmeier," a well-known authority in this field. I would recommend looking into her credentials more because she has a great deal of expertise and is a great resource for anybody looking for advice on how to navigate the financial market.
Seeing this I started to wonder. I own Vanguard S&P500 ETF but the price is different. What's the difference between VOO and S&P 500 UCITS ETF (VUSA)? Probably the difference is that I invest on LSE and VOO can only be bought in US?
If you are a non-US investor, VUSA is better for tax reasons (lower dividend withholding tax 15% vs 30% VOO) and you will also not be paying US estate tax. It also has much lower unit price so you could invest less at a time if needed ($73 VUSA vs $383 VOO).

Comparing SCHD to QQQ is just strange to me--very different objectives and fund styles. Also the future assumptions were faulty. SCHD isn't a growth fund like QQQ.
I believe there are services out there that you can integrate stock data into google sheets. Takes a bit of coding though and may take some time to learn. Assuming the growth rates for the next ten years will be the same as the last ten years is not wise. For the last ten years, interest rates were falling. Falling interest rates supports tech stocks much more than the the more stable dividend payers. Interest rates can't fall for the next ten years. I'll fix your headline for you: #1 WAS Shockingly Good.
Just because they are great opportunities in the stock market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I’ll advise you to seek the help of a professional.

It’s unfortunate most people don’t have such information, I don’t really blame people who panic cos lack of information can be a big hurdle. I’ve been making more than $65k passively investing with John Desmond Heppolette, and I don’t have to do much work. It doesn’t matter if the market is crashing, I will always make good profit returns.
Amazing I know John Desmond Heppolette, glad I found this recommendation earlier on. I have made some pretty impressive gains, I closed last year with my investment portfolio at $430k. I love his insights and innovative approach to how his ETF’s are run so different from the stale methods of managers I’ve work with in the past.
Hi Jim, thanks for putting this on! Question, the excel is for estimating the compound interest - but isn't this the same as setting the option "reinvest dividends" to ON in Portfolio Visualizer? or am I missing something? I am pretty new to investing so that can pretty well be the case...

Niceee
Thank you
Do you have QQQ or TQQ what's the better one
SCHD, VOO, QQQM. THAT IS MY DCA PORTFOLIO IN EQUAL AMOUNTS.
Or you could do
Qqq as your "growth"
Schd as your "bond"
When qqq goes down invest more into it
When qqq is out growing schd invest into schd and at end of year equal them back out or any ratio you want
That way qqq is helping grow schd and schd is growing better than a typical bond and also helping buy more qqq as it drops and qqq is helping grow schd when needed.
Good poin. Thank you.
How do you set up weight in each etf? 80/20?

A Friend told me Saving at least 15% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. is this a good way to potentially grow my retirement savings to about $3M over time?
You need to create your own process, manage risk and stick to the plan, through thick or thin or you can just seek the help of a financial advisor.
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

'Laurelyn Gross Pohlmeier' a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
She seems to be a well-read and intellectual woman. I found her website when searching for her online; I appreciate you sharing.
Same 3 ETFs since 2021 -YTD is a different story. SCHD is outperforming over the last 1.83 years. Now, is that significant? Safer? or a reason to have both. I like VGT or FTEC over QQQ for its very similar performance with a much lower ER.
Same, that's why I went with VGT over QQQ
@@Dajen_Tkbut VGT doesn’t have Tesla, Google, Meta, Amazon and more.
Thank you for the explanation, is it possible to get a copy of the calculator?
Question about SCHD. So if i put a 100,000 into SCHD I would have 1317 shares at 0.7034 which is 926. Now since it pays quarterly is that 926 a month or 926 divided by 3 which is 308 a month. I could never figure that out. Right now I have JEPI, JEPQ and BSTZ which pay my house payment. I think SCHD would be good for growth!
I've got both jepi and jepq with qqq for growth & im doing ridiculously well....thank me later if u try this combo for the long haul 😉😎
1317 shares x $2.56 dividend per share divided by 4 quarters = $842/quarter or $280/month.
@@dtsect pretty terrible dividend payments compared to JEPI, JEPQ amd BSTZ!
@@robertsmith6408Rob make sure u understand what ur investing in! Those are not the best funds to compair to SCHD. Apples vs oranges
Isn’t QQQ more similar to VGT or VOOG and SCHG? Wouldn’t these be a better comparison?
Thanks for the video! By the way: I have the OKX Wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (job priority warm lab border boil monkey manage palace fiber weird ask). How can I send them to Binance?
Invest in qqq and plan on selling and buying schd when you are getting ready for the income.
@@KelvinWallace Please can you leave behind the info of the F/A guiding you?

@@KelvinWallace Thank you for this! Really appreciate a lot.
thank you for the excellent informative video.
would u recommend to hokf all 3, in roughly equal amounts to diversify?
It’s completely up to you and your investment goals. That’s definitely a strategy. Just keep researching
Past
performance has zero indication of future performances
FTEC , MGK is better PERFORMANCE add VIG or VYM for dividend. The market always revert back to the MEANS so just buy VOO or VTI for a one fund portfolio add VIG for 2 fund portfolio.
do you need to consider Dividend Growth rate as well?
Probably best to go 100% on Tapestry's buyout of Capri
I like SCHD! I also have some SCHG for growth !
Adding ETFs with Growth is good in bill market runs!
I'm trying to understand when you say diversify when qqq is starting to go down, so dont sell but hold and buy other etf's? or buy more qqq to dollar cost ave?
Thanks for this analysis! How would you compare QQQ with VGT? Would you prefer to take the latter?
Amazing! I just subscribed. How do I know if I'm spending my investments too thin?
Mstr which is high risk has been good
I have VOO, SCHD & QQQM in my 3 fund portfolio
Good mix
What's your percentage allocation of each?
Really am confused especially in the market analysis, how do people take advantage trading them??
Oh please,,, how can someone get to speak with Mrs Camille ,,, I really have poor stream of income😓
Thanks for sharing, I will definitely ensure to do that 🙏
Thanks for video.
That’s cool and all but you need to see how the numbers would look if we have the next 5-10 years of recession/depression where we have flat to negative growth in stocks. Let’s be honest the future 10 years will not be like the last 10. Thank you
Drip method into VOO and chill.
Great video Jim! Thanks for the response. I agree about the diversity with investing 100%. Now time to pick up some more qqqm!!
Thanks for the video suggestion! It’s given me a few more ideas for videos
Boa noite parabéns pela explicação já deu uma analisada no etf FREL da gestora fidelity?
But QQQ is exceptionally tech heavy and will continue to take losses as interest rates rise or continue to stay elevated.
Is there a way to invest in QQQ with a 401k/TSP?
How about safety ?
QQQM has a lower expense ratio. Wouldn’t that be better compared to QQQ?
Its always strange to me that we say market is forward looking yet everyone tries to predict the next 30 years growth based on just this last decade when we have had nothing but ZIRP and a huge deficit with extreme QE...if all that continues for the next 10-30 years $1m wont even cover 5 years worth of retirement. will not be shocked at all to see the next 10 years of QQQ look like 2000-2010 rather than 2010-present
Great vid. Thank you!
@16:30 Tithe? Amen. Nice to see other Brothers dedicated to giving 10% of their first fruits to the
Lord.
Love in Christ, Dan.
How do we even mention QQQ in the same breath as VOO and SCHD? I really hope investors seeing that scary thumbnail and not clicking don't get the wrong idea
Thanks for the knowledge !
Please who’s this consultant ?
"Laurelyn Gross Pohlmeier," a well-known authority in this field. I would recommend looking into her credentials more because she has a great deal of expertise and is a great resource for anybody looking for advice on how to navigate the financial market.
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
How about qqq vs voog?
At 0 to negative interest rates qqq wins. SCHD is more solid all around
Hey Jim! New follower and wanted to say great information you’re providing. I was looking to download the excel formulas you use but the link is not working, any advice ?
Did you sign up on Patreon? I have all the spreadsheets I feature in my videos on Patreon

Hi
How do we download the workbook without subscribing on patreon
Workbook is only offered to Patreon subscribers. You can follow for free on Patreon and I believe I may have my 401k calculator for free can't remember. They have changed the Patreon platform up so much in the past 2 years.
Comparing SCHD to QQQ is just strange to me--very different objectives and fund styles. Also the future assumptions were faulty. SCHD isn't a growth fund like QQQ.
The top 100 tech companies will never face anti trust issues or competition
Is there anyway you can integrate the spreadsheet with a stock market data dump file? That can be updated either manually or automatically?
I believe there are services out there that you can integrate stock data into google sheets. Takes a bit of coding though and may take some time to learn. I know the UA-cam channel “GenX Dividend Investor” has a spreadsheet that does that. It was to complicated for me lol
I’m cool with just looking up the individual yields, expense ratios, etc… it makes me take a deeper dive into the security
@Jim The Producer thanks for the prompt response. Can we speak on email regarding the benefits and tools that come with the 7 dollar a month subscription?
I've been considering buying ETFs/SCHD stocks for retirement, I have set asides $100k but somewhere along the line, I get cold feet maybe because I'm a rookie and have no idea what I'm doing, please I could really use some guideline
You can buy dividend ETFs if you don't want to get into individual stocks. My favorite is SCHD. you can use a coach
@@richardbryan9434 A coach sounds like a good idea, but how can I get a reliable one considering the nature of the market today?
@@JuanCarlos-ln2xt There are good names out there, people that have shown consistency. Like DOROTHY DONNA TAGLIENTE, she's currently my coach. Lookup the name , you can reach her through her home page.
all of you say to diversify but none of yall show me which etf goes along well with qqq and diversifies without costing too much performance...
We are long on QQQ & VGT…
;) What about XLK or SMH ;)
You didn’t say how much a month you’d have to invest in voo for 1m in 10 years if you can share that thanks

Your fin advisor really seem to know this stuff. I found his online-page when I made a google search of his full names, read through his resume, educational background, qualifications and it was really impressive. I left him a note and booked a call session with him..
Thank you for the great work!
Hi Jim, thanks for putting this on!
Question, the excel is for estimating the compound interest - but isn't this the same as setting the option "reinvest dividends" to ON in Portfolio Visualizer? or am I missing something? I am pretty new to investing so that can pretty well be the case...
yep that's the same thing.
