I'm still struggling to find a suitable Sorcery DPS build tho, still playing with a totally random one from six years ago until I get a glimpse on stuff. Only on solo instances of course, for group I can only help as a healer at the moment.
I use the oldest builds. I was doing an 8 Players run and I was the only healer, everyone elses were dps, one tank and and one troll, I kept them all alive.
Why not Dual Pistol? I've always wondered why no one takes that? I can heal when needed, and just take a single skill point in Dual Pistol and fire from range and get a ton of power back between heals. If I have Demon's Fang on for my Battle Healer, I NEVER run out of power... I'm not sure why thats never been considered a viable option. Am I missing a downside here?!
As a sorcerer, I only use summoning when I go dps. Fury with the AoD, and sometimes the Guardian when my group lacks a tank - or at least a good one. I started using the Watcher when I was starting, but I just felt it wasn't good enough, switched for another superpower and never looked back.
Bro in my opinion this man obsidianchill is carrying this game like mans has a guide for everything like if you tryna know how to tank just go this man, needa learn how to heal just go to his yt and he'll teach u everything u needa know. When people in game on mic verbally hated on dude. I literally be that guy and asked...did you watch his videos. He has said and stated. This is a guide. Especially with builds. None of my toons are spected as chills or anyone else's. And our player style is differ. Doesn't mean I'm better or he's better. Let me me add this last point. That people don't know.... When it comes to UA-cams Algorithm. It's so in favor for Chills channel based on dcuo... Im not going to get into the details or politics of UA-cam..Only to add some context. I do appreciate your opinion and open discussion.

@@nicksandz3209 watcher still doesn't have the ability to crit and its slower heals even with it having unlimited power. You have to take 2 slots in arbitor for watcher unless you are just using the group heal spam to give power back to it
My Playstyle is something I like to call a shield healer. It's a healer that can heal others but focuses a lot on moves that mitigate/absorbe damage for their allies and themselves more so than just pure healing so their healing output is lower than other healers because they have more defensive options like shields and bubbles/barriers and stuff that mitigate/absorb damage for your allies. Like Scholar from FFXIV or Discipline Priest from WoW so what power would be good or close to that?
You do realize that you do NOT need to run Offering with Watcher as the 4-man heal Ritualistic Word FEEDS Watcher as well, and typically you are spamming RW anyway, so you get extra passive heals and extra damage just by running Watcher. Also, Circle's AoE has been expanded to match Water... so it's extremely useful now.
The change to CoP didn't exist when this video was created. In regards to Watcher you also completely miss the added benefits to the heals that offering grants with the resto % and the power return from word only gives enough for for 1 Watcher heal, not to mention watcher heals are awful and cannot crit. There is zero reason to run watcher as sorcery. Transformation card has no effect, the heals are slow not only in their duration but slow to charge PHR as well.

Is soul siphon not any good? Its description sounds op... target's attacks heal group members. It sounds like he is healing instead of damaging when he attacks, so much less need for other healing powers. I know I would still need to use other powers, but does soul siphon just not work as described? It sounds like a single target/boss wouldn't even be able to hurt people. Also, you do great work. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos. I appreciate that you're old and smart like I am, and I love that you have spreadsheets for dc. I have them as well.
In my humble opinion and proven it is, that if instead of going All the points to Domain, which are WORKS for the bosses to attack you as Healer, it is preferable that you put like me, all the possible points to Vitalization, heal or heal equal or more and the bar of Power will hold you a little more in any contest
@@dogico Does not affect the aggro you say?Well go believing you that IF it affects, if you read the statistics well, as soon as you exceed by the minimum the aggro of the boss, is going for you, and I assure you from experience, and with the Vitalization, I assure you by own experience lived that the bar of power holds you much more than hurting to Domain

It clearly says dominance is for shields heals and crowd controlling enemies and that vitalization does not affect your own passive power generation. This isn't my opinion the game literally tells you this.

So I have a very important question Concerning Healing (DCUO) how is a lower stat healer with lower gear n sometimes artifacts out healing me ? I’m very confused 🫤
It's actually very simple. some powers have many hots. When these are always active they will heal the minimum possible damage, you may not see any appreciable change in the life bars but that minimum throughout the instance will give a significant change in the score. Apart from that, you must also consider the cures for the NPCs. Many times the hots will give constant cures to those NPCs, adding a lot to the score. And if you have electric power, it is most likely that you will not steal these types of cures. Obviously as long as you mainly heal the tank you shouldn't worry.
Soulwell needs to give out bigger heals. Maybe it needs a bigger and a different animation as well. Like at 70k resto, soulwell gives off AT MOST 4.5k heal per tick, if not lower. What? It needs an upgrade.
Yea most aren’t gunna have an extra 250 etc sp to drop in dom to actually make a difference it’s better just for health and power so you aren’t always stuck running PHR
there are new generator mods for each new episode release that will use that present currency. You can also get older generator mods with source marks currency
I did, was an oversight, so used to running with solar amplifier and it automatically applies it that it slipped my mind about the mod to mention it for invocation

I run the pure heal build and use empowered channeling for the hands mod. I think it helps with Invocation of Renewal casts.

They fixed Circle of Protection. It has a HUGE AOE now.

I run Orb,Page,Purp. Can solo heal FFE, etc. But Sorc HOTs are ass

Dominace doesn't affect aggro and vit doesn't affect your power regen as a healer.

I know a lot of healers swear by spec Dom after rest. I try telling them 100 sp not doing anything might as well put it in health or M&P.
