Can you keep passeneger side battery with this kit? I use my 2nd battery for my trailer charging system and all electrical connections. Don't really wanna clutter up the driver side battery and be down to 1 battery
I'm not familiar with what is exactly different between the stock HE351 and the drop-in phatshaft turbo. Would this work with the stock turbo or does it have to be the phatshaft turbo?
That's kind of loaded question because the size of turbos dictates that entirely. A single 488 would make more power than an s475 over stock but that compound setup is excellent for daily driving and towing where the 88mm would be a laggy hot pig.
@@dontworryaboutit1 I should have been more specific, like on my setup, ran a S475 as a single, then went to compounds with it and a S464, lost quite a bit of power and had to gate it.
@@wild12valve yeah torque comes in quicker but I think it chokes up the 75 having to flow through the 64 and air gets hotter going through 2 turbos at wot
@@dontworryaboutit1 it's cool too because just playing with the external gate I ran around 70psi, then 40psi, only lost .100 and 1mph is the 1/4. One thing I noticed is boost actually rolls in slower say from 20psi to max compared to just the single. I believe it's because it has to spin two turbos up to speed instead of one.
@@wild12valve yeah and at lower boost your 75 isn't flowing what the 64 is trying to suck in so it fights that. They definitely aren't the answer for every situation but compounds have there place

Thank you for watching! hopefully next year will take the crown...
What RPM will this typically start making boost, and what RPM does it reach max boost? I’m assuming this is on a 5.9 CR with fuel upgrades.
Valid questions

My ‘04.5 WILL have this.... do you have a part# for the kit? Are factory injectors good or will I need to get those too?

Is this available for 4th gen’s?
Dose the 6.7 Cummins need a blow off valve for this kit?
Any kits like that for the 2007 6.7??
Any kits for Cummins isx15?
I haven't seen a turbo blanket that isn't carbon fibre style lol
Have you ever noticed a decrease in power after going from a single to compounds?

Does anyone make a TurboCompound setup for the Cummins!?
It’s almost like this video was about that
