Kills me every time And little Fact, Rosalee was originally supposed to be in only 5 Episodes, but than the Showrunners wanted to make her a Regular. But her Actress Bree Turner was pregnant with her second Child so thats why she is missing so much in Season 2
Juliette is also affected the same he is, it was hinted when she saw the captain face for a sec when she was with Nick during the dinner surprise. So they're both feel super drawn to each whether they like it or not
My two favorite characters in the show are Captain Renard and Rosalie, who are both such different characters but so great each in their own way at the same time. I love how complex all of the characters in the show get a chance to be, as the story itself is very much showing that the world is complex and no one is all good or all bad. And you'll see the world continue to grow as you continue watching Grimm from here.
Another interesting behind the scene story Tulloch (Juliette's actress) came up with very detail day-to-day life and supposed little things and habits Juliette and Nick would have over the years, and tried to incorporate as many as she can in their scenes together. The writers and directors were very impressed with her notes and performances, so they decided to add more scenes between her and Nick (like in the beginning of this episode). Tulloch really put a lot of effort in her role behind the scene.

Re: Wanting to see development... That's an issue with the old 20+ episode format, it's a slower burn, but it does also allow for things to develop more; that being said, I do prefer the format as I find the newer 8-10 episode thing to be too rushed (leaving whatever series it is feel emptier). Non-spoiler reassurance, you'll get what you want in the end, you'll just have to wait for it (& it's worth the wait!).

I felt really bad for Nick at the beginning of the episode for the casually dismissive way Juliette was treating him. That had to hurt. I'm not saying it's Juliette's fault - as far as I'm concerned, she's not in her right mind and so gets some leniency. Just saying that I can empathize with Nick's frustration and pain.
Casually dismissive is how I'd be if someone was trying to foist resentment on me for my medical condition, like Nick was. Nick being grumpy for sleeping on the couch is one thing, directing it at Juliette for having healthy boundaries with a guy she remembers nothing of - that's crossing a line, and he knows it which is why he tries to apologise immediately. But he makes a hash of that because he's grumpy and tired. It's great writing, and characterisation, but in that exchange Nick isn't the person you should be feeling sorry for. (Especially given the only reason she lost her memory is because of Nick's secret life.) Frankly, if sleeping on the couch is making you uncomfortable then the correct course of action isn't to snap at the person you supposedly love, it's to buy a camping bed and accept that the current situation isn't as temporary as you'd hoped.
I love this show, so I really enjoy watching your reaction. It is like reliving the Ifirst time I watched the show. Since then I think I have rewatched Grimm 4 times. I would like to suggest a show that I am currently watching for you to review in the future. "Warrior Nun"

If you want to look up Ryan in the book without skimming through other wesen. He is a Lebensauger. They show up more than once and they are pretty nasty.
This episode needs a lot of work. It should start the morning after Adalind sleeps with Sean wearing a red wig. Adalind tasks Sean with getting the key for the Royals if he wants to keep his identity secret from Nick. Nick and Hank are working on a case involving a missing young woman and bring a man in for questioning. the man being released and tortured to confess on a 911 call is good, but Nick should be at the Spice Shop talking with Rosalie about restoring Juliet's memories. Juliet's obsession is getting worse while Sean's has been lessened by being with Adalind. After arresting a second suspect evidence is found in the suspect's van to hold him. Nick and Hank are then informed their suspect is no longer in the interrogation room and has been let out. the suspect is found later tortured just like the first suspect. Wesen are getting nervous as the bodies were branded with a symbol historically used by GRIMMs. After Bud shows up at the precinct to talk to Nick about it he is kidnapped by the intern. Nick and Hank stop the intern from killing Bud. The intern's mother tells Nick that the intern talked about having important work to do. The intern screams at Bud about how Wesen and GRIMMs must be enemies. Juliet sees Rosalie about her obsession with Sean. Rosalie gives Juliet something to suppress the obsession for a short time.
Thatr is somewhat the problem with some scripts used in the show. You think them over you can see here and there to many flaws in the show. Still I love the lively ways the figures on the show act.
@@rogerlynch5279 I agree the acting was great. The characters were not written as well as they could have been and the show does not progress organically. Too much forced rather than natural drama and too much of the show happens because the script says so.
