@@michaelalando Yes, we have reported the matter numerous times. They once told us that it's our fault coz we bought land in a commercial area, yet it's very clear hiyo place ni residential area.

It does not take money to tweet to NEMA and Governor Sakaja about these people - even posting videos of these criminals in the act. Name the lawbreakers. Take videos and post.
The rudeness and insolence of the workers - that "I don't care about the neighbors" attitude and their telling of many lies like that worker claiming at 2:03 that "we do make noise," is a big part of the problem. Many of these people climb out of slums with a malicious envy and jealousy and a desire to ruin things for the people living in these areas. FUNGA KABISA!

Nairobi is one of the noisiest cities in Africa, clubs & churches everywhere. Noise pollution is extremely dangerous to our health, but there's more to this narrative. I suspect a case of the owners refusing to bribe the government, thus the closure. Lots of businesses are standing up to the extortion of the new government, resulting in dubious citations & lawsuits. This club generates plenty of revenue, someone in government wants part of that.
Not everything is Government related....sometimes, it simply means that the business did not take into account the residents around the area and thought setting up a club (not restaurant) in such an area would be a good idea. You forget Kileleshwa, Lavington, Kilimani are also voters and Sakaja is no fool, they can easily set up a lawsuit against the NCC for giving them a licence to operate a club in their area, which won't go well for him as a Governor.
The journey to a quieter city mist start from somewhere. High end places receive first attention because residents complain in a "constructive and engaging manner".
