Wonderful refresh! You’ve added so much to your apartment. The outlet in your medicine cabinet is interesting. I’ve never seen that before. Useful for rechargeable toothbrushes and razors, I guess.

That outlet also controls the light under the cabinet which is really inconvenient!

If it wasn’t for all the linen I wear in summer I’d throw out my iron and board gladly. The new grout is so much better, make sure you don’t wear outdoor shoes when you’re in the bathroom, that’s what’s discoloured my grout. Socks or barefoot are best for white/pale grout. It looks so new and fresh, like you’ve got a whole new bathroom.
I think floor-to-ceiling sliding doors to separate your utility area from the bathroom would look good.

Thanks for the advice re: keeping the grout clean. Unfortunately I can't fully cover the washer and dryer due to the fire sprinkler in the bathroom. But should be ok to have some closable cupboards.

What a difference, Lilibet! I recently declutterred my ironing board, it’s huge, bulky, taking tons of valuable real estate in my little apartment. I now iron on the bed, a trick my friend taught me 😂

I definitely want to get a lighter weight ironing board at some stage. Interesting solution to iron on the bed!

Beautiful declutter…I would put a kind of white curtain to hide the washing machine, it would give a little bit more of a spa feeling.

My father redid all my grouting when I moved into my condo here in Stockholm. It really made a difference. My bathroom is still tiny and quite old, but it felt more like mine instantly. The mold was like in yours, and it will come back and i have redone this multiple times, but it's not the grout, it's the softer material / grout that i don't know the word of =) so it's easier to replace.

The silicone? I think that's what you're referring to. It's amazing what a small facelift can give to a space!

You're fortunate to have a relative who was able to do it. Yes unfortunately it will come back. But will try and enjoy it while I can. Silicone is pretty cheap to replace.

Hi Lilibet, I love how clean and fresh your bathroom looks. Would you recommend the company you used for the tile grout? If so, I'd be interested to know who they were for future reference. I also love your choice of suction hooks for the shower - what a great idea! I hope you are enjoying your beautiful bathroom.

Hi Rena, the company was called Tile Rescue. They were quite good. But there are quite a few companies that offer a similar service. So I would shop around for the best price. Suction hooks were from Howard Storage. They seem very secure.
