Can't believe more folks haven't picked up on this great performance by BJ or more broadly discovered this man's great songs. He's the real deal! Love it!! Also makes me proud of the great Carolina traditions of music that he clearly comes out of.
This guy is awesome and deserves a lot more views than this! He is passionate and seems to have a read on the pulse of America in songs that were written well before what we are all experiencing now. Check him and AA out. I am waiting (and hoping) that I will get to see him/them live in Des Moines on July 1st! Thanks BJ for writing & singing what a lot of us are feeling, but can't express it like you do.
We saw these guys last summer in the east Tennessee area and they made a fan out of me. Great show if you guys get a chance to see them definitely check it out.
I wish they could play here in Thessaloniki Greece...but I think I am the only Thessalonian AA fan around here so far...Anyway...Great band I wish y'all all the best!!! Cheers from the land of sun, fun and feta cheese...
@@amccoy6055 many6 many thanks Bro, I have great memories from Atlanta! I'm a UGA graduate and did also my master's there. I really miss it. I hope that I will make it back someday. Thanks again!!!
@@CoverMarket I went to GA State in the mid 90’s for Cello performance and currently take online classes at Penn. My wife and I were just at UGA last weekend for an outdoor music festival. We primarily went see one of the greats, John Moreland. Other than wishing he had played at least double the hour he played, it was great. First live in person show in well over a year. We stayed on campus at the hotel that is part of the College of Continuing Education. My wife booked it. I had no idea the the university had actual legit hotels. Well, at least one. It was a great weekend.
@@CoverMarket LOL, I commented on that building to my wife when we walked over to the bookstore at Tate. I mentioned how interesting the architecture was compared to everything else in sight. Not that it was some crazy Guggenheim thing but just looked cool from the outside. What a small world.
AA should do shows with tyler childers and sturgill. The full songs have the psychedelic aspect and follows the things tyler wants to do with helping people with addictions and all.
This is perfect display of why I truly love American Aquarium.

Great picking and stories with a deep breath . Love
Such a great storyteller. Almost like VH-1 storytellers episode, right? Thanks for watching.
💃🕺💃🕺 - can't wait to see AA on tour again once we have put this all behind us. :)
Holy sh-t! I loved his music before, but this performance is unreal good.
Outstanding! BJ Barham and American Aquarium are one of the best bands out there!

How does this not have a billion views yet??
Whoa. Intense... Emotional and gritty. Outstanding.
Amen, brother.

A.A. and BJ both play my town, Atlanta, GA USA fairly often. If you are ever this way, at the right time, your ticket is my treat, my friend.
