Eamons book an all time classic
Im just in the middle of reading his book ... good so far
I watched these men in their respective careers & they did a lot for Boxing. Never once did I see any of them in a dull fight. Eamonn Magee fought them all too, never ducked anybody. Life's hard but never forget the resilience of the human spirit.
I saw Eamonn Magee boxing in the Ulster Hall in the early 1990's and never forgotten it. I have also read his brilliant biography. That face says it all. He is such a fascinating and tough character with a lot of soul. I wish them all well!
This is a beautiful video. It doesn’t apply to just boxing, but to life in general when work is over. The biggest fight is with ourselves.
I recently read eamonns book and thought it was excellent, probably the best book about a boxer that i have read, (and i have read loads of them) i also worked with his brother terry for a while in ammanford (wales) and he was a gent of a man.
Heard from people in ardoyne he was a bit of a bully, a twister with drink in him... gentleman when sober and a demon when drunk lol
I’ve read the same .. nasty. Men abs women -,equal opportunity thug.
Eamon magee was a top class amateur boxer. Winning silver in the junior world championships in Puerto Rico 1989🇮🇪🌟
This is a great doc
Great showthanks for sharing
Darren Corbett was one of the hardest punchers about and is a good friend.
But he was lazy in the ring..
I dont know why boxe will always be special
I dont like Mma, i will always be a hardcore boxing fan.
Ryan was one of my favorite boxers he beat zennet and damn beat him well
When he got that back injury that was the biggest travesty for Irish boxing ever - he had it to be the best
Ryan burnett won all of his fight pretty easily even when he was fighting Donaire he was up on the scorecards.
Eamonn looks half cut.. sad to see.. he was a hard man..
Eamon had it all, but had far to many demons and ended up pissing the lot up a wall.
Seems like emmon had the tools to be the best of the bunch but his demons held him back... Or it was his demons that help drive him to Excel in the fight game...who knows ? I do know there's no gentlemen from the Malone road that have been champion fighters
Brain had alot of tagic loss which did not help his boxing life great boxer and man
Who's brian
@@jueiveson2204 I meant to say eamom magee

Probably one of the lost naturally gifted boxers of all time magee was. His life was just so insane outside it
