Minor detail mate but it's best to always ground your machine bucket. Low chance of anything happening but you never ever know. Especially with a puppy and kids in the home.
Was going to give the same tip.
Like suddenly loosing hydraulic pressure because a hose or seal breaks? (Just curious)
Ardon, yeh, that and they are live, so when the machine is turned off the bucket will fall to the ground if the leaver gets bumped
Yeah, have seen a seal failure cause the boom to drop on a 5t excavator that was parked up for maintenance with the bucket up. Id be happy to leave the bucket tilted, probably good to have the base touching the ground though
I always leave the boom up maximum height cause i like to live on the edge
The dog has a lot of fun at work.😁
Your puppy is a nutter👍😀
Kikuyu baby wooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! bit of extra fert to give that baby a speed booooost!!! lets goooooo!!!!!!
🤣
Please show us lots of the bore install so excited for this!!!
Came here for helpful lawn information, stayed for the doggo..
Short or long Ben your videos are always informative and fun, especially with the wee pup running around. Keep them coming wee man.
Eal hat? I dig it
Yo mate waddup, welcome to another cute pup vid 🐶
Hey Ben,
Great work on the lawn man. ✌🏻
As Ryan said always ground the bucket and any attachments.
And when pushing into the pile with the bucket. You want the bottom of the bucket roughly level and about an inch or 2 above ground level. As you drive in the bucket will drop under the weight to reach ground level
Your is like your best friend, he gets so excited about you throwing sand 😅 what a doggy!
Random Golf Club rep! 🤌🏼🔥
The problem is, you are having too much fun! Keep on keeping on bro!
Haha definitely having too much fun!
I’m so hyped for this project
Great job. Thanks for sharing
Rain is great but sucks when you can't work lol
Is anyone else jealous he is in spring?
Wow yeah that was quite a bit of growth for one week, looking good bro !
Love your work mate!

Nice hat mate - are you a fan of EALs videos? Also any other golf you-tubers you follow?
Old mate talking about all the rain = likely to be a drought again this year!
Everything is looking great Ben, love your little puppy 🐶, he’s so cute the way he follows you around, I’m kind of here to watch the little puppy 🐶 lol 😂. Cheers from Janelle, would love to see and meet the new little man sometime on your channel, Hope Mum and Bub are doing well. 🧸🧸

ua-cam.com/video/HWitrt2zUsg/v-deo.html here’s this one if you didn’t see it already! Otherwise I’m sure it won’t be long until he’s in another.

Stu mate this should keep you motivated
Have to try that fertiliser. Looks good
Last Aussie 😁. Send me some rain mate . 😎
Hey mate. Is that a soaker hose with a reel (4.0 minute). If so, what is the brand, type and where can you buy it from? Thanks
We got washed out big time in WA about 3 months back, all my levels got stuffed had to re level 140m2 by hand up a slope that washed probably 4cube of top soil down. What a bloody nightmare. Layed Empire Zoysia starting to come good now few bumps with the weather being so wet. We shall see if customer wants a top dress in the future.Been down about 3 Months I went back last week to check retic settings and first cut. Looks acceptable. Not quite up to your perfect levels.
Great videos mate.
Rainy season is actually the worst
Definitely a struggle!
Top tier
Buys kids a dog...
Dog officially his now.
Who said I bought him for the kids? 😂
same thing happened with me...
Yeah I figured he got it for himself… think about it, he couldn’t have one at the old house because it was small, and now the man gets the land he has been wanting so why not get a dog!
Another beauty
Bloody great day here in nz mate
I’m inspired , going to work in the yard now, also that last song sounds like a 70’s porn track! 😂😂 I’ve been told that’s what they sound like 😉😳
Hey Ben, Trying to locate the fertiliser you are using, My spreader was on back order and only just arrived from another supplier. BUT, Are you able to tag the product you use on each vid clip please.
EDIT: Found IT!
Hey mate what sprinkler is that? Where can I get one?
Hey Ben, quick Q. I topdressed with 80/20 same time as you, up to 30mm thick it places. Some areas are forming a hard crust quite quickly, making it hard for the leaf to punch through.
Would a strong soil wetter application help prevent this crusting or is it a matter of keeping it constantly wet?
Hey mate, is there any chance you could do a patch or golf green using only organic products?
How much dakka are you growing on your property ?
Hello lawn tips, could you sell some couch grass seed on your website pls
Wheres the John 🦌 cylinder mower?
How good is Kikuyu
Hi mate !
Gotta ask how you find your blower catcher on the x380 ? I have got a x500 and im looking to get a catcher just heard a mixed bag of reviews on it ? Thanks thoroughly enjoying your videos learning alot bring on reno time next monday !
How do you feel about dogs soaking up fertilizer through the pads on their paws? a bunch of research about this topic
If you watched the video,he let the dog inside before fertilising.
@@Johndeerehdi some fertilizers can be tested for at the surface of the soil weeks after application and the pads on dogs feet are super prone to soaking up chemicals
Hey Ben,
As a guide, what setting do you have your spreader set to when using Noculate xn. Going by the guide in the spreader user manual (@ half rate) and rate of 3kg per 100m2 it recommends setting 14 but this looks way too open and I’m not game to try.
Cheers
Howzit! Can you take us along on the process of sinking a bore? Keen to see the whole process.
Na don't think so
@@cameronschulze6067 Damn it! Ha ha... I'll try again next time...
Lourens Smal thanks anyway appreciate your interest 😂
Check his videos from his old house and his last bore! :)
I just mowed my lawn this morning with honda push mower on setting number 3 . Anyone know what height that is ? . But it came up looking amazing like a golf course fairway . Grass is kykuya
Check the user guide for the mower. My Honda HRU19M1 is: 1=16mm, 2=22mm, 3=28mm, 4=33mm
@@emmett3067 thanks mate yes I looked it up and 28 mm was correct cheers mate hpy Saturday 🍻🍺
You probably the reason why addicted to lawns now and edging 😭😅
Haha love it
Hey mate. I'm about to reno my lawn with some new Turbocote Kikuyu and was wondering what setting you would recommend using with the Scott Drop Spreader - i was thinking around 12. Also for fertilizer i was thinking around 4. Scotts don't make it easy to determine if you're not using their seed/fert. Thanks in advance
Hi
I came for the grass i stay for the dog.
is that a mini pup or just a pup?
So mate, just had a fan of yours just buy a acerage property. Guess what, he got himself a tractor, ride on mower and wants me to build him a golf green and tee so he can have his very own par 3 like his hero Ben. Between you and Brenton, i get a lot of work from your great ideas. Keep it up. Loved the video.
Haha that’s awesome man!
Banga
Don't be scared to plant a garden
👍🏼🇦🇺
yo
I'm not a fan of Kikuyu, "change my mind"
came for the tips, stayed for the dog. please keep the dog in every video.
Lookin' good, my pup enjoyed watching too ;)
G’day Ben I’m loving this new place of yours, seems like ya got endless projects going on👍🏻 I’ve got a kikuyu lawn aswell so following with interest, last year I done a minor renovation on the front lawn and over seed with a kikuyu/perennial blend which come out great but now I’m getting these straw looking stalky bits of grass in it just wondering if it’s the perennial and if so should I spray it out?
Cheers buddy keep up the great vids
Mine has gone the same. Could the stalk things be onion weed.
Hi mate. Awesome reno tips. Can you do a vid on the soaker hose on the reel you used please? Or let us know where you can get it? How wide does it spray? Many thanks in advance.
My Starlink has arrived in Crookwell FYI.
Nice. How is it?
@@normalguy7898 it's still in its box. The rain continues to fall and it's going on the roof the lawn has become a British meadow.
Oh sweet! Hopefully mine isn’t far off
@@andrewwood6554 I hear it's better than city NBN. A smart choice, I am sure it will bring your great joy.
