My father taught us to eat union grass when we went camping (survival style) That is the staple food for baboons. I always sat on the lawn, back home, picking and eating onion grass. I now now that I was the weird kid in the neighbourhood.
Hi, I'm in Moss Vale. The frosts here have burnt the kikuyu, but I'm not worried as, due to various other grasses and weeds (especially paspalum, yuk!) in the lawn, I'm having it all nuked and sowing tall fescue. It's an excellent cold weather grass and when established. looks like a PGA fairway. However, Ive been instructed to not lower the cutting heights on my mowers lower than 3 inches (6 cm), for maximum lawn health and weed resistance. BTW, I used to eat onion grass as a kid. From memory, it wasn't half bad. Good vid, thanks.
It’s actually the model down from mine, just would have been I had the aperture set lower so it makes everything in focus sharper. Maybe I should adjust my lens when it comes back!
Agritourism should be part of the offering for that AirBnB. I’m probably not the only bloke here who’d travel across the world to get a mow in. Also, thank you for being such a positive voice, encouraged by your content. Keep going!

Otherwise it would be a full time job. The only thing I use a push mower for is for the putting greens! 😂 Good luck. Now you've got me wondering at the cost of windmills these days (into a dam or tank, or both). We had a few spread around the farm for livestock on the family farm. I once lived in a place with a thick kikuyu lawn, a corrugated car shed and compost heap of the North side or it laying on a couple of more sheets of corrugated iron.
