Sweet ride. picked this one for its extra power against the other brands counter part (value!). The style is slick yet simple, the luxurious feel for an MPV lols . my only gripe is that why the extra storage tray not included on Lower variants
The sports mode on demand (which I sparingly use) is god-sent. Just adequate for overtaking. Significantly boosts acceleration from a standstill. Fairly effective as an engine break when going downhill. Didn't fail me on steep inclines too (e.g. my recent Atimonan zig-zag ride) . I'm just glad this new version already ditched the kink design in the unit's beltline. Of the budget 7-seaters out there, I believe BRV's HP scores the highest.

Toyota Veloz E has much better equipment than this, at a sub 1.1 million pesos price. Honda is stuck in the past. For those who complain "Veloz is not a Toyota, it's a Daihatsu", Daihatsu cars have been part of Toyota for sixty years or so. They are also good value and reliable. This is not just my opinion. It is my experience as the owner of three Daihatsu cars in Australia during the eighties and nineties. Mind you, I also owned a Honda Civic wagon in the eighties, and a Honda Jazz automatic in 2012. Back when Honda was still on top of its game. Honda is scrambling now. They recently joined the consortium with Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi. What does that tell you? Toyota and Suzuki stand alone.
Ill admit the price of this undercuts its best competitor, the XL7. I would choose the XL7 over this because the interior space at the 3rd row is much more useable and is best in class. Plus you can more than likely get a discount😊.
@@ZigWheelsPhilippines of all the MPV that launched in the past 3 years it hasnt changed which is great for depreciation but bad on keeping up with the rest of the market. It needs cruise control and more airbags but the latter can come until a model change. But other than that its a solid mpv that emphasizes cargo and people without sacrificing one over the other
@VR JA most 7 seat mpv's can't allow a 6 footer to sit in the 3rd row, whether they can do so for more than 5 minutes and while not compromising the persons in the 2nd row is another thing entirely, thats where the XL7 excels, it just works for tall people where the Xpander is tolerable, the Brv is a no go and the Stargazer is a disappointment(considering its based on the Staria). Also the XL7 has the better fuel economy.
@@lloydd.2306 Toyota Rush is for rugged drive since it is still rear wheel drive, also underpowered for its size. Veloz has more than everything the Rush can offer.
@@akonatoakonato5719 get this instead. While the Xpander has a higher ground clearance at 225mm, this car still has a significant height advantage over other cars in the segment at 207mm. But the difference in handling is just night and day. I've test driven both and you can definitely feel the body roll of the Xpander because of its height, but the BRV handle like a sedan. This also has a much smoother driving experience and better fuel economy thanks to the CVT. And this S variant is cheaper than the Xpander GLS by around 50k. Once you get to drive this, there's simply no turning back, and that's not even an exaggeration. It's just so buttery smooth.
Rush is said to be “matagtag.” Can’t say too much since I haven’t tried riding or driving one, but our BR-V VX is definitely very comfortable when it comes to the suspension; perhaps even better than the Xpander as well.

Thank you very much for the sub!
Sir good day. Does the S cvt variant have walk away locking mechanism? Honda manual seems too vague. Thank you.
Whats the city and highway mileage from this vehicle?
Because of you sir we will get this one.. Thank you..
Did you get it? How’s the performance?

suzuki xl7 3rd row is the most comfortable among all of compact mpv that you review despite your 5ft 10inches tall..
The battery will cost you 150k for replacement tho...

Yes! While not alot of people like the XL7, it utilizes interior space the best in the segment. -Roy

yes
entry level brv but the looks and spec is massive
Is the daytime running lights really flickering?
No, the DRL doesn't flicker in real life. It just doesn't pkay well with the camera settings :-D

Stargazer
