This is so valuable and needed. So many people are agreeing that Social Media will have you looking at your perfectly good life or relationship and thinking less of it. It really is about the small things. Helicopter rides, huge bunches of flowers, expensive gifts? That won't sustain you. Did he make you a cup of tea when you were working? Did you wash his back for him? These are expressions of love

When the gestures stop sometimes that's when they are noticed. Some people may get mad when they stop. In reality these may be things that you didn't have to do in the first place but didn't mind. Return a gesture every now and again. Small things does matter!
Help out! How is taking care of your own children helping? You are a parent, it's your responsibility to look after them. Outsiders are the one helping out. HoweverI understand her point, he is considerate.
She said he takes care of the kids in the mornings so she can sleep in. That is a gesture. The same way it would be if she was the one who picked them up from school everyday so he can go home and do whatever. Both are taking care of their kids but theyre also taking care of eachother. And yes if it's her car then him taking care of insurance is a gesture. Yall ungrateful and it shows

She’s coping. She wants romance but ain’t getting it so is trying to warp her mind into seeing him sorting out car insurance as a romantic “gesture”.
