My coffe plant is now 6 feet tall! It lives in one of the corners of my living room, in a 2 feet tall pot, with an 18 inch diameter. It sits by an east-facing window. I've re-potted it 3 times in 8 years. I didn't know it was a coffee plant when I bought it at Giant Tiger store!😆 It was only about 6 inches tall at the time, but the healthy-looking, deep green shiny leaves attracted me to it. Since then, it has multiplied, with 5 more smaller trees growing around the daddy stem, that make up my coffee tree family. 😄 I live in S. Ontario, Canada. I've seen two coffee beans on it this year! I have to fertilize it in the Spring, to see if it will produce more beans.

My coffee plant isn’t doing well. Loosing leaves. I have it in a container that’s two time big then the one you’re holding and my plant isn’t even half the size of yours. Should I move it into a smaller container and change the soil as well?

Usually you should separate the plants as they typically come in clusters of 4-5

Man, the information for coffee is all over the place. Ive heard bright light and I have heard NO bright light.

I’ve toured the greenhouses where we get our coffee plants from and they’re grown in 3-5k foot candles. “Bright light” is a minimum of 1,000 foot candles, which is why I recommend bright light.
