I have a 2.5 year old garmin dezl 700 series with the bigger screen. Easily worth its cost. The only things I didnt like were the UI and the voice recognition. Once I figured out how to shut that off it was perfect.
Bro, I got same model last week. Updates took about 8 hours to upload and update maps. Love it so far, only been using it for a week. Got me around in northern Cali with no problems. We shall see around Chicago, that’s the real test in my opinion.

I have the Garmin OTR 800 and I absolutely love it. Rand McNally is garbage Garmin is the way to go.

@@Ididerus not for the size of it. The mount is awesome and stays on very well. I'm very pleased with it all around. Highly recommend it.

Got the OTR 800...meh, my gripe is it only has fastest routing. A REAL truckers gps will have shortest, practical, and fastest, all 3 choices...like the old ones that were always losing signal or auto re routing...thx for the vid

Did you record footage of you making the GPS holder? The truck stops have a solid GPS holder that sits in the cup holder for $30. The upper end bracketron holders for $50 and the power dock producers are good. They can break over time though.
I have no faith in anything made by Broke-e-tron. No video of custom mount install LoL 😂 it cost $4.99 + 4 screws

I don't use it anymore. I use an app based GPS called Hammer GPS on a back up phone.

No just to do updates. It does the traffic and weather via bluetooth

Does it route for HAZMAT?
You can add your hazmat class in "vehicle options", along with height, width & weight. You also can have multiple profiles if you frequently carry different products
