This mechanic is trading quality for quantity. Theoretical 3k DPM without precision might turn into actual 800 DPM. 1.5k theoretical DPM with high precision might lead to higher real world DPM considering the higher amount of pen percentage
@@joe125ful He means that if you have 3k dps but only hit/pen 800 worth, your effective dpm is 800. In contrast, if you have 1.5k dpm and hit/pen most shots, your real world DPM is higher. A good comparison would be between FV4005 and other tier X TD's, FV has higher potential DPM but absurdly low real world dpm.

FV can one shot you with 3k dpm but if you miss shot or two dpm goes to hell. Tanks like Grill 15 with same dpm can repeat shooting faster with more reliable gun. And tanks like OBJ140 with 5 seconds reload you can easy miss more shots but your reload is quick enought. And what is Real dpm when FV one shot one tank and OBJ140 go for kill with 900more dpm and FV one shot you anyway becuase OBJ140 have crazy dpm but tiny alfa and FV reload in time,that is good example when if you pen all shots it means nothing vs big guns and reversed. You can have any DPM but you need use it correctly. There is thousands examples of Real dpm not matters that much.

This new line is well balanced, the tanks can shine sometimes and sometimes the gun and obv rng is your enemy. One more think I noticed firstly on type 63 and after that for this line, in many cases I can't hit or penetrate if the gun is not cooling, yeah...you can miss many shots either from close distance either from 400+ meters. Comparing with type5 heavy line this is so damn balanced. Really Type 5 heavy line needs a buff especially for armour.
That armour doesn't need a buff lol, instead it needs rework so it has weak spots which can be penetrated but then should have enough armour on turned so it doesn't get autopenned by any gold above 300+mm
At 18:56, as you can see how the reticle mod impacted his decision. Instead of taking 0.5s to aim properly, he took the shot instantly because the reticle was so small that it created a false perception of a sure pen. Even though I don't think having a small reticle is bad, because it does give you the confidence to take some clutch shots. It's just the "calculated" 58% sized reticle that causes the problem. Your reticle is so small, your shots go to the edge of that circle so often, and you get frustrated so much easier than you should.
Being "too" aggressive in nowadays wot isn´t worth anything anyways, no matter what tank. The only thing you end up with is running into people camping in bushes or hulldown positions. And even if you push them the only thing you accomplish is them running to the next bushes/hulldown position so you gain nothing. Really effed up how wg changed the maps over the years to sort of encourage/reward this nonsense.

(which creates a false sense of security for bad plays and has people repeat mistakes as they get away with it occasionally duo to rng). You literally win more games when you stop playing to win but for draw, it´s insane but it works. Just sit safe and let the enemy feed you. That is what WG changed the game into.
Here’s my take on the tank as one of. The first on NA to 3 moe. It’s flexible in terms of mobility and firepower. The ability to choose accuracy over dpm can be really clutch. Upper plate is quite sad indeed. It’s a high skill ceiling fast heavy
I have King Baboon in my Type 68 for the commander (the first version, not the newest one) and I have to say, for the first game I played being a draw, getting almost 5k combined, I will agree on all points, skill. The armor is workable on the turret, trash on the hull. The gun handling is pretty damn good, and I consider the accuracy mechanic a bonus when it's active, but I don't rely on it. Standard rounds at 250mm pen are pretty good, though gold APCR at 311-ish pen is kinda lacking. Really REALLY wish it had been HEAT instead of APCR. Really my only complaint about the tech tree heavies for this new line is how much of cows they feel when turning or moving. Their mobility is really bad, even with a turbo.
Looking forward to seeing how you make the T10 work, it certainly seems worse tier for tier than the 8 and 9. Also, I had a great game today in my Type 63 with Skill commander and camo!

The guns between T8 and T9 are identical in dispersion, but I hated Tier 9 gun, seriously, it sucks. It is better with food, but playing T9 with food seems too wasteful even with premium, T9 being an enjoyable sweet spot of all tiers. Blueprinted 50% of T X, and it's not much better imho :D
I agree. I’m surprised at the negative comments about the tank. It’s big boost in dpm over the tier 8, awesome gun depression and accuracy and good turret armor is everything i need.
from what I see, it seems to me that the 2 mechanics are not super useful and used on these tanks. I would have understood if they had put them on tank destroyers instead 😅
I have keep playing with this too and... i am regretting my choice of climbing this tech tree It is good but damn... that 400 alpha is fucking trash should have been atleast 500 to be a good tech tree tier X tier x with 400 ... shit I regret that I put my effort to grind this tech tree

So - Average armour, pen & ok speed. Needs Premium ammo so you'll make lots of credit loss. Even with more accurate reticule, you can still miss/bounce. Maybe use another tank.
Why would I ever play this tank when I can play Conqueror(my fav t9 heavy along with E75). This tank has more DPM but with than accuracy for only 400 dmg is bullshit. And with great accuracy DPM is only a bit better than outdated t8 tanks like Löwe or T34. Conqueror always has great accuracy and doesn't have abisimal DPM with it. And it has better gun soft stats, better premium pen and it has amazing HESH shells. And I would rather have 10° of gun depresion without using hydropneumatic suspension and over the side than 12° only over the front with hydro. Turret armour is better as well and even view range.
Conqueror is completely useless trash tank. Yes I get it, many people love it, but the only thing it is supposed to have are gun and turret armor. Gun is great but what’s from that if you can’t use it? On the flat ground your hull is completely paper and there is no such thing as side screaping (differently from american tanks). Even if you are sitting hulldown, every tier 9-10 will penetrate you with autoaim straight into gun mantlet or next to it, even while using 10 degree of gun depression. On the flat ground, even if the hull is covered, you have big cupola and everyone will penetrate you with autoaim. And on top of all of that, you are slow on e75 level without any armor whatsoever. Yes gun is good but that’s about it. DPM isn’t great and none is scared of your alpha. At least with s.conq you have dpm, real turret armor and better side armor as well (so in maps like ensk you can actually do something). I don’t get the love for the conqueror. Everyone goes trough your turret without any problem and you don’t have any chance to relocate
Pretty silly how this mechanic was implemented. It would make sense to wait so your inaccurate gun becomes accurate with this mechanic and are faced with the dillema of dpm vs accuracy, depending on the situation. But the gun is already very accurate so it's senseless, no need to wait, you have a shot you take the shot, all the time. Also what's with the laser accuracy on the move, the reticle barely bloomes at speed. Whatever WG, keep powercreeping.
Had one park behind me whilst in my 122-2, using me as cover, i was taking shots meant for him, no power, couldn’t stop me pushing him out when i finally had enough…….there you go skill why don’t you raise issues with the game? Like some behaviour of players, i say bring back team damage, the report system is no deterrent,

I have good map awareness, but definitely need to get better at recognizing when I am in a vulnerable spot in time to retreat.
I learned from skill just simply count the guns or HP on one flank and you will have an idea if the flank going to be lost

To be honest, I like the model of the Type 68 (Leopard/Stb style) Also great turret and dpm close quarters! I prefer this Type.
I've unlocked it a few days ago and after researching all the modules, I'd say it's more like a medium brawler hybrid than a heavy tbh.
i hated the Type57, felt sluggish, the gun trolled me quite hard and so on but this one is a gem. Balanced but very efficicent
