I would always hear the difference in Dimash's voice. No matter how great, as here, his partner sings. In addition to the excellent technique etc. it is the warm texture in his voice. Like velvet.

A Thousand Miles A Common Dream (ua-cam.com/video/zU29tAzs4Yc/v-deo.html), a Dimash original song and his premier of the solo version was in 2020 in China on the Classical Hits tv show, is absolutely gorgeous and much longer than this short duet with Zhang Yingxi, who is a world class opera singer and a former student of Placido Domingo. You can see Yingxi was a bit nervous to be singing with Dimash who is a giant idol in China. 😄
beautiful!!! Dimash is studying Mandarin Chinese and is advancing very quickly to be able to communicate with his millions of Chinese dears.
He is not studying Mandarin, Kantonese or any other language spoken in China. He openly said that he knows a few phrases and that's it. Where would he even begin to find the time to learn what is arguably the most difficult language in the world when he hasn't even had the time to study English, which is much more important to his career, more in-depth? And he unfortunately doesn't have millions of Chinese fans anymore. But that is a story for another day

@peggyuser-oq6xz7fg9o the recent turnout at airports during his visits to China, as we'll as the small number of CN at the Hong Kong concert are a clear indication that his Chinese market has shrunk a lot. The Chinese market is a strange and unique one. They like their stars young and boyish. Think about how they style him when he visits China. They try very hard to make him look much younger than he is. The Dimash from 2017 is the one that causes a big hype. The Dimash from 2024 hasn't performed there much, and is too old. Sad but true

Great reaction guys to yet another fantastic performance by Dimash this time in China. May I recommend another wonderful singer this time from the UK 20 year old Lucy Thomas. She has just released her 5th studio album and at the end of the year is to star on London's West End stage in a brand new musical especially written for her called "Rosie." I suggest either her cover of the Barbara Streisand song "The Way We Were" or her duet with her 5 year younger sister Martha "The Prayer." I guarantee you'll both be impressed as she already has fans all around the world and is soon to perform a solo concert in Tokyo Japan.
