Dimash is a 29-year-old Kazakh vocalist and composer; He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and would be completing a doctorate in musicology. Bro, welcome to the secret world of Dimash Qudaibergen. John Reaves have gone down this rabbit hole for nearly a year now and he has been to one of his concert last year, met Dimash and gave him a red rose. Why? Because Dimash truly Is that beautiful Alien that you mentioned, he does have all that embedded in his DNA (plus he worked hard to perfect himself since he's about 5-years old) coz his mum and dad are both singers. He did Opera 2 by Vitas, Show Must Go On by Queen, Contessa into the Diva Dance from the Fifth Element, and a few others. The wildest thing is how many languages he can sing in.

This song is in French. It’s not a talent show; it’s the digital show he made during the pandemic. A show, that in two hours, had the server out of capacity. Dimash sings in 16 languages, but speaks Kazakh and Russian and is fluent in English. He also speak Mandarin by, according to him, he is very limited. Once you listen to Dimash once, you cannot stop watching him. He is the best vocalist in the world and a great story teller. Wait until you hear him sing The Show Must Go On, Adagio, Sinful Passion, All By Myself, Love Is Like A Dream..just for starters. Looking forward to seeing you being amazed over and over again by Dimash. There is no other singer in this day and time like him. You don't have to believe me, check him out for yourself. Hope it's very soon, I will be waiting for my notification. By the way, Dimash began his music studies at the age of five and has perfect pitch. He said that since he was two he has never imagined doing anything other than singing. This is not a talent show. Dimash is independent of any record companies. He built his own music production center and, his dad is his manager, and Dimash is involved in every aspect of his music. Not only is he extremely talented, but he is super humble, and loves his family, his country, and his "Dears". Believe it or not, he still does vocal training for 3-5 hours every day, and more if he has upcoming concerts. He sings in 14 languages and plays a variety of instruments. Don't worry! Most people in the world are in the same situation you are with not enough years left to get that good! Dimash had a head start as his mom is a singer so he was literally formed with music all around him! He began music school at age 5 and trained for over 20 years in order to be this good. He also obviously has God-given talent and the proper vocal cords! He is also very supportive of others who love music. (He actually enjoys hearing his fans/Dears at his concerts singing his songs for him!) He sings in many different genres and languages (he speaks Kazakh, Russian and a good deal of English along with a tiny bit of Mandarin.) Enjoy! 🇨🇦

I think Dimash is considered to be the best male singer atm according the most youtube vocal coaches. I can see why. Not only has he a great stage presentation, but also the pitch, the range and maybe most important the feel. Even if you dont speak the language.

Hello, as we all know your dears, Dimash is exceptional and the best male vocalist on the planet. Dimash was born among music. I had been listening to music since before I was born. His parents are very famous singers in their country, his mother is a soprano. It is in his genes because his grandmother was a singer when he was young, his parents are both very famous singers in their country. His father sings normal, and writes song lyrics and is a producer.
Now he is his son's manager and everything he has done so far, concerts, his music videos, etc. The family has its own production company, they are independent, called Dimashali. That is why many people do not know it because they do not have a large production company in the music industry that advertises it, plays it on all the global stations, platforms, etc. China was the hit and the word of mouth, the UA-camrs reactors. This was just one song from his online concert during the pandemic, with 150,000 tickets sold worldwide it was the fastest sold out concert of a non western artist ever.
Dimash has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is soon to finish his PhD.
With his genre defying ability and a 7 octave range he sings exactly what he wants to and has remained an independent artist because he doesn't want anyone telling him what he should sing.

While I love DImash, BTS sold 1.3 million tickets to their online concert in 2021 and they are definitely not Western artist. I only have 3 artist I listen to online and those are Dimash, BTS and The Rose.
@@lanettefairfield7908 I don't doubt you but Dimash actually only allowed 150,000 tickets to be sold. I didn't say anywhere that it was the most tickets, I only quoted what TIXR themselves said. That it was the fastest sold out concert of a non western artist.

I like to let reacters know that not all of Dimash's songs use such a wide range. If that is the only thing they fixate on, they are often disappointed, even with a song that is incredible, and Out of this World beautiful! Besides his range, he is most known for the emotions he conveys. Lovely shivers and goosebumps Every day with Dimash. Sometimes multiple times in the same song. Many times all the way down to your toes. ❤

He may sing this today, opera tomorrow, jazz, blues, rock, rap, or a ballad and he may do it in a host of different languages while being fluid in his native Kazakh and Russian with English quickly becoming his third... with a little Mandarin thrown in for good measure. Dr. Qudaibergen (Ph.D.) will be 30 years old May 24.
He began his classical vocal and instrument training at age 5. His grandmother had him enrolled in the best
youth music school in Kazakhstan and he attended the entire time he was growing up.
All three of his degrees are in music. Currently, he is studying classical vocals abroad.
Obviously, he was born with a strong genetic ability in his field, but he spent most of his years
vocalizing 6 hours a day. Most of his band and background singers attended school together.
His parents are gifted musically, and his mother studied under the same vocal coach he did.
Sveta, his mother, is a beautiful soprano.
Dimash just recently performed a duet with Placido Domingo though you rarely ever see him
doing straight opera. He might begin a piece operatically and switch to contemporary and is known for his
ability to produce mixed vocals much higher than any one else. His known vocal range is over 7 octaves
but he will not say exactly what it is exactly. You should begin reacting to him. He has a plethora of videos
and will generally shock you in everyone.

This is not from a competition, though when he did go viral back in 2017, it was after singing this song on a talent show. This performance was from his live Digital Show he recorded during covid lockdown due to his concerts being cancelled. This was a way to give his worldwide fans a concert & to raise a bundle of money for the covid cause. The song is from a 1970's rock opera called Starmania, but nobody has sung it like Dimash.

I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. Dimash has been in music since he was 5yrs old. His parents are also in music. Mom is a known opera singer in her own right. When remarked to Dimash about his gifted talent, he said that natural talent is only 10%, 90% is hard work. He practices every day. He said if he even misses a practice it shows in his voice. We, who listen may not notice, but he does.

Dimash is super talented, some of which was discovered at 4 years old when he declared the piano at home was out of tune. Just uniformly flat, like most home pianos, which most people can't detect. So perfect absolute pitch discovered at 4. National music institute at 5. Classical opera track training. And he was very self motivated to perform. Trained straight through adolescence without breaks, which is what you need to do to keep that high range.
So super talented, super hard working, very motivated and professional singer parents to help him avoid any big mistakes.
He's also a quick study. He performed with Placido Domingo on a sudden idea and one rehearsal when he was at the right place and time.
He learned a very emotional Mandarin folk song, phonetically, in one week during a 2017 Chinese competition and made the Chinese audience cry.
He does a number of music styles, such as classical crossover (popera) [Olimpico], Russian pop/jazz [Sinful Passion], Kazakh folk and folk inspired music, Chinese and Japanese folk music, some MJ style action [Be With Me], some American pop [Hello, My Heart Will Go On] and a recent jazz/horror blend song [When I've Got You].
He has also done some straight opera pieces [Pearl Fishers' duet] with famous singers [Placido Domingo] if you're into that. He's writing some music himself after getting a few music degrees, so it should be a wild ride as his writing matures. He's already been getting a lot of stuff written for him by one of the huge composer/musician/producer giants from Russia, Igor Krutoy [Love Is Like A Dream, Stranger]. Just for fun, he did the impossible blue alien song from The 5th Element [Diva Dance in 2017 at Bastau].

Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers.
His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far).
He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how.
Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this.
His concert in September 23, 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong.
He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills.
He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄.
He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard.
SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione.
SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time.

The man who often plays the kobys in Dimash’s performances is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it.

So, just so you know... LOL! He started playing piano at 3, singing at 5, trained heavily in opera, and loves all genres. Here's the thing. This man has a once in a century voice; biology, training, desire to sing, drive to be the best he can be... And it shows. He can literally do ANYTHING he wants to do with his voice. Opera INSTRUCTORS are baffled by the fact that he can sing legitimate opera as a male baritone and tenor, female mezzo soprano, and even high coloratura soprano, and switch between any and all at any given time, between notes, etc. This is stuff that nobody has EVER seen before. He is absolutely, hands-down, the best singer on the planet. And a LOT of professional vocal coaches...won't even argue that point.

Don't worry, he was born with the cards stacked in his favor. Both parents singers (mother soprano) is tall, he kept his high voice after puberty and practiced and studied relentlessly for 20 years. And his recorded voice range is from B2-> D8 (more than 6 octaves)
