Awh thank you!! ❤️
You've some real nice photos, well done, I sometimes talk to myself without a camera! lol....
Thank you! Hahah same
You’re right about the UTS building (Dr Chau Chak building). It does feel very Gaudi.
But it’s actually by Frank Gehry who also did the Guggenheim in Bilbao and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
After that you also visited the bird nest looking building called the exchange in Darling Square.
This building was designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma who designed the Tokyo 2020 Olympic stadium but the other place of his that is super understated that I haved visited is the Starbucks in Dazaifu, Fukuoka, Japan. Very cool actually as Starbucks places go.
Oh so interesting!! Architecture isn’t something I’ve learned about before, so these tidbits of facts are new to me and good to know. Thank you
@@broladesigns no worries :)
I think it’s great to know that some buildings are created with the architectural element front and centre.
The building above you at Spice Alley was a building called One Central Park.
It received the annual Best Tall Building Worldwide when it was built. And very close to there, the software firm Atlassian is building what would have been the world’s tallest timber skyscraper (until a building Perth took the record).
I think Melbourne though leads with skyscraper design and number. Melbourne has the same number of skyscrapers as LA, San Francisco and Dallas combined.
Well done on the article write up in the news
Thank you! Had no idea they were doing that but I feel honoured haha!
Chiming in from Perth. Looks like your having a blast in Sydney even though its a big city. Hope you get a chance to tour the country as it is so diverse.
Yeah we like our more chilled/outdoor lifestyle compared to other countries. Keep the video vlogs coming - enjoy
Thanks for your comment! 😃 I’m looking forward to seeing Perth at some point! The quokkas on Rottnest Island have always been a bucket list item of mine🤩
Cool but if you want to see the most stunning beach in Aust then YT search "Kendell and Glen" for their vlog 46 "Our favourite beach in Australia" as it is a photographers dream for sure due to the pure white sand and stunning aqua blue ocean. Esperance is often rated up there as having the best beaches on the planet - enjoy
My apartment overlooks the Halo, had i known id have invited you up .
Bonza Brookie! The longer format vids must be a bugger to edit compared to the Shorts
... but sometimes 60 seconds just isn't enough🤪
Hopefully you've got a few ideas in the works. Looking forward to the next one👍👍
60 seconds isn’t long enough most of the time but it challenges me to be concise and not ramble haha! I actually make a lot of longer form videos for work (I’m a full time video editor) and am so excited for Christmas break because I have sooo many fun ideas I haven’t had time to film for myself yet🤗
@@broladesigns omg soz I didn't realise. Yeah, stick to the cool shorts when not on the clock.
... but... flipside, when work is also your hobby=
Livin' the dream!
(Bring on Chrissie hols though lol, count the days)
@@stevew9107 oh no worries at all! I know right!! It took me years to put two and two together. Stoked but yes also definitely looking for a nice lil break from anything besides hanging at the beach🤗
2:39 Unneeded fact but I worked in that building (IMAX Building) it legit took them years to get a single building company to complete it.. I would talk about what happened in there while it was being constructed but Im unsure if I'm allowed.. xD lets just say some news is fake news :S :D
Here is the famous Brooke
Hahah need to explore Sydney while I can, before the paparazzi start swarming me😮💨😂
@@broladesigns 🤣🤣
Hmmm...not a good place to take pics with those garbage bins there...😳 We need to get you a camera crew 😉
Hair down
Haha thank you I get annoyed with it down but appreciate the compliment!!🥰
You need to do Melbourne before you leave Australia. Lots of street art. Beautiful old shopping and cafe lanes . Some say Australia's best city. Fun fact. The shuffle dance done at raves of course is also known as the Melbourne shuffle. It was invented in Melbourne and went around the world from around the 1980s.
I can’t believe this is my first time hearing about the shuffle! So cool. Will definitely be going to Melbourne at some point, hoping to never leave Aus🤞🤞🤞
It’s so hard to smile talk all the time.
