The OLITANS T010 Titanium has a liner lock, which gives me peace of mind. I'm super happy I came across these inexpensive "shaving sharp" blade holders.
Hi doc! Have you ever heard of GPCA? They make an EDC carabiner, It’s a multi tool and they come in aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium. Pretty cool stuff
Cool little scalpel holder, i definately would also prefer the stronger pull or getting one of the linerlock ones. I like to keep a little strop when I'm using these types of small blades really prolongs the use of them. Keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
I think they are very cool and very useful. I would love to get a few but having trouble coming out with what would I mostly use them for ? In my case because I seriously think they are cool ! Ah heck I'll get one and try it ! I do little projects and small repairs on small projects I don't build planets ? And I just use box blades. Time for something cool and new ! Sweet video !
WOW i really like the red and black one and would go great in my bug and first aid bag. I have my CRKT Chance in hell machete attached to it but a small knife like this one would be a great addition.
Hi doc the black and red one much safer and liner lock would be better again. Otherwise they make a good finger removal tool. I have an actual scalpel handle i use for craft and model repairs excellent. Stuart Palmer Adelaide Sth Australia
@@krknfmkr8919 well i have to plug my own state great wine regions due to german settlers, fantastic coastlines. Flinders ranges and Wilpena Pound then outback is so close some fantastic small towns. 2 heritage railways 1 near flinders 2nd close to city to Victor harbour on south coast. I could go on and on. One place i want to go is Western Australia to check out the coast and wildflowers unbelievable. It all depends what your into big cities or country.......we dont get as cold as you and not as much snow. Hope this helps a bit Stuart
@@stuartpalmer7572 thank you for your input. Not real keen on cities, I like the wilder areas. Sounds like a person would need several weeks to see all the good things to see
Not necessarily. Tweezers let you do fine work that pliers don't. It's been my experience that pliers won't get a grip on very fine objects. Many pliers don't fully grip at the tip, because frankly they don't need to. Tweezers are made to fully close and grip right at the tip to grip small objects. I've tried to use needle nose pliers to do work I would use sweezers for, and they just didn't measure up. Especially in areas where I needs precision or very fine Control. About 90% of the time pliers or a multitoo is fine, but there are those times where a tweezer is the the tool for the job - of course this is all my opinion.

I love the #11 only for splinter removal I carry benchmade with it for most tasks
Carry a benchmade ceramic and strop sharpener too to keep a razor edge

I use box cutter type knives for leather work. With replaceable blades. Leather really dulls a blade fast
Same, i get a 100 pack of husky razor blades and go through them fast
It looks like you are able to swap the scales so you can keep the strong slippyness of the g10 but have the nice titanium scales

Maybe re-purpose the titanium pieces for a knife handle. Inlay something in the middle. The EK12, if it comes apart.
I have an exacto knife set in my fire kit, but no scalpels, i use it for feathering kindling and it seems to work better than a knife
I would like to try the scalpel blades easy to replace good for fine cutting 👍🏽
same happened with me, my screw locks maratac is gone....

What are the best areas of Australia to visit? I don't know if I will ever be able to go there, but I am curious for a locals opinion

For EDC tweezer guys, why not pliers? Don’t they do the same thing, but better, plus more utility??
