It's time to start my 8th Thailand motorbike tour. Join me as I take you on a tour of Isaan. We start the tour in Nakhon Ratchasima at the amazing Flora Park. This floral garden is filled with amazing colors and beauty. So many flowers and so well maintained. Let me show you around this gorgeous flower park. Then it's back onto my Honda ADV 160 to go find some food. My first day journey out of Bangkok took me about 3 hours so I am taking it easy on day one. Then it's off to Phutara resort and spa. This place has some very interesting things to see, and do! After settling into my room, let's go and check out a very small local night market. I am excited to once again share my motorbike tour with you guys. Let.s go!

Nice trip start, man! Just subscribed
Welcome aboard! I should have a total about seven or eight videos from this tour series by the time I’m done
My wife and I spent the day after Christmas at Flora Park and the attached Rose Park. The flowers were at their best at that time. Well worth the trip.
Yeah, I’m sure that was perfect timing.
I live in Australia and I love watching all your videos. I’ve been to Thailand many times but unfortunately it hasn’t been since 2019. I can’t wait until I go back again and it would be great to catch up either for a drink or a walk around the great city. My mum is from Udon Thani so would be awesome to see your videos from there. I love your videos. Keep up the great work mate
I'm glad you enjoy the videos, there’s much more to come. Thanks for your support.
Good start to the trip Serg , safe travels .
I appreciate that! I’m excited to be heading out.
I appreciate that! I’m excited to be heading out.
😊 Your trip looks fun. Have a safe trip.🎉
Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
Your haircut and glasses looking sharp. Was really fun to come along for this trip, you came across a lot already, especially for just starting your trip. You actually covered a lot of ground already, wow!
Yeah, I thought it went pretty well for the first day. There’s lots more to come!
Looking forward to following along on your trip. An amazing area of Isaan, looks to see that many don't know about.
This will be my first time into this part of the country. I’ve covered most of the other parts, so I’m excited to be on this trip.
Excellent start to your bike trip Serg. Looking forward to the next video!
I have lots more to show you! Thanks.
Nice digs. Safe travels🙏
That’s definitely the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at on this trip so far. as I get deeper into the region, the hotel variety definitely decreases a little bit. Lol
Wishing Tree just outside Khon Kaen is nice but a little on the dear side
Serg!... when I was riding up in the Nan province area I found if you can get yourself one of those thin lined rain coat\wind breakers they work great blocking the cold wind for your morning rides...they do work better than a cotton hoodie and you can just roll it and tuck it anywhere and is less bulky. Best of luck and safe riding!
It actually hasn’t been that cold in the mornings. The next morning, I had no problem writing in a T-shirt and all of my gear on top of it. I can also put my sweatshirt on underneath my gear so I’m fine. But the raincoat ideas a great suggestion.
What a view over the gardens Serg they look stunning so unexpected. You done well walking up to the dodgy platform
🤯🤯🫣🫣 Heath and safety is what number !!!!😂
Great vlog all the best my Mann
Safety is still number 13 in Thailand. Not too far from driving skills. Which I think his number 38. 🤣
Safe travels, Serg. Looking forward to your videos.
Thanks, will do!
Thank you for sharing and have a safe journey Serg.
Thank you! I appreciate your kind words.
Beautiful beginning to a new adventure.
I’ve got a lot more videos coming
@LifewithSerg Nice, i will be liking and saving all of them 🥰.
Nice video Serg! The park and hotel grounds look nice!
Hotel grounds were very cool indeed. But that staircase scare the crap out of me. I’m typically not scared of Heisman that thing just looked sketchy.
Great I look forward to following the entire tour Serg, good idea to get out of that Bangkok pollution. Do visit Chanthaburi sometime ❤
Yeah, it’s been hit and miss as far as air quality on this trip so far. It’s not much better than it wasn’t Bangkok. But I knew this was gonna be a gamble.
Safe travels Serg, I’ll be following your adventures
Thank you for the kind words. There’s much more to come.
Enjoy the great weather.😊
It was nice and cool. But right now, the town I’m in is right around 20° and it’s supposed to drop down to 14 tonight. It’s gonna be a little on the chili side.
Check out Prasat Muang Tam - it's a mini Angkor Wat. Good idea to escape the smog - it'll make you sick! I love your videos!
I’m actually long gone from that area as I continue on my loop. I did check out another one very similar. It will be in my next video. Thanks for your support!
Safe travels. Hope the bike 🏍️ is ok now 🙏
Thank you, the bike is doing great now that I took care of the problems.
@ you’re going to good areas !
Great start, be careful...Matt & Lucy
Thanks guys!
I heard on the news Thailand is ready to take severe punishment to prevent the agriculture burning of sugar cane. It's good that you left the pollution zone. In 2010, peat burned in drained swamps around Moscow, heavy smoke for two months, it was very unpleasant, but I had can't leave because of work.
Time will tell if the Thai government will actually follow through. We shall see.
Cool vlog Mate❤
Thanks Mario. Got lots more coming from this tour.
That is the scariest selfie tower I have ever seen LOL.
I wasn’t joking! I’m typically not afraid of heights, but this thing just made me super and easy
Northeastern Thailand is semi savannah. The air is dry most of the time and temperature difference is quite drastic.
Yes, I’m definitely learning that. Last night was 14°!
@@LifewithSerg When you get to Ubon make sure to visit the old China Town.
KFC OMG WTF😎 should have call those stairways to heaven 😎😁😎
I couldn’t find any other restaurants that are open. In these small towns, most things close at 7 PM. Yeah, those stairs were super sketchy.
LOL at the bugs on the helmet. Yea man, up here if I'm not listening to music it literally sounds like it's raining from the insects. My PTT stops usually involve my bringing my helmet to the sink to clear off the visor.
I mean, this is a regular occurrence for me riding in California. But this is the first time in three years of riding in Thailand that I’ve actually had to deal with bugs.
You can find all sizes of long-sleeved shirts at Robinson Mall in Buriram. I admit it takes some searching to find clothes that fit the Western male. Also, T REX Boutique Hotel is a pretty decent hotel just outside Buriram.
Thanks for the suggestions. I decided to skip get a long sleeve shirt. Although where I am right now I drop down to 14° last night. Fortunately, I brought a sweatshirt.
Wow you are Adventure Man 😮
Yes, this is my eighth motorbike tour in Thailand. I really enjoy exploring the country.
I hope you do a really deep view of Isaan and the region... the area, neighborhoods, the locals, as there seems to be a popular region where a lot of people leave to work in Pattaya. You hear about how under developed the area is... but from what you show, it looks modern, and like any other city.
That was just the outskirts. I’m actually quite deep into Isaan now and while there are some modern cities, there’s lots of tiny little villages. But I think that can be said for any part of Thailand that I’ve traveled through so far. There’s definitely less things in this area to see and do compared to the other areas of Thailand I’ve covered.
Seeing the countryside on my recent train trip from bkk to Ubon was great. Especially after Korat to Buriram , Surin & Ubon ..
Hey you should visit Phu Wiang Dinosaur Museum it a very cool place with ton of dinosaurs bone there even one day that they let you touch it there also for some reason a cage of monkeys somewhere I don’t know if they remove it yet(those monkeys is very aggressive)😅
Sounds interesting.
Serg 🙋🏽♂️
Hello!
Have you made it to Udon Thani?
No not for a few more weeks. Not in a rush.
@ I would love to show you my favorite spots around Kumphawapi and Udon🥳
Speaking of passion projects, reminded me of the ridiculous car collection on display at nong nooch! Though I see you’ve already made it there
I’ve been to Nong Nooch three or four times. That is the most amazing place I’ve ever seen. Everything is always kept up and they’re always building new additions to the park. The car displays are nice, but the rest of the garden is by far one of the top 10 things I’ve ever seen anywhere.
Years ago I rode my PCX from Chiang Mai to Surin while riding around looking for hotel I noticed someone following me. Eventually I found the hotel and parked at the sametime a young Thai kid got off his bike as well. he ask me did you ride all the way from Chiang mai and I said yes I did. He ask how do you do it. I told him you gey on your bike point it in the right direction and go. All he could say was woa. We chatted for a while he gave me his phone number and says if you have any pronlems call me I will help You. I said Thank you. He was a very nice kid.
That’s awesome! Yeah, last year I covered almost 12,000 km in Thailand on my ADV 160. I’m getting to the point where I absolutely need to go back to a normal motorcycle as I’m pushing this thing beyond its limits. You’ll see what I mean in one of my future videos. Lol.
Happy Serg, escape from Bangkok 👏🫶❤️㊗️🙏
Oh yes, it’s nice to get
@ 👍
Having all them options of Thai food from the market and then having KFC is so me, Thai food generally isn't my taste so you bet I'd be at all the western chains for food haha! Shame I know, but I can't help it!
I do enjoy Thai food, but there wasn’t much to choose from at that market in my opinion. I’m near a big night market, I will absolutely eat there. I’m actually at one as I’m typing this.
@@LifewithSerg I'm sure there would be something I liked at the bigger markets but I know I would be super safe 90% of the time and go to a western chain for food. My taste in food is so plain Thai (or Asian in general) food is too much for me normally. A lot of the Thai desserts though I'd definitely try!
Apiku is cold without me. 🐻🐷
Meep to the world
No luggage, change of clothes, etc?
Yes, of course I brought a change of clothes. I bring four shirts, four pairs of socks, a pair of shorts and four underwear. I have my writing gear for when I’m on the bike, but I only brought shorts and a sweatshirt. It’s a little chilly at night and some places, but I’ve been OK.
Will you try to meet up with "No time to be Sad" he often meet with other UA-camrs
I don’t know who that is.

No burning season in isaan?
Oh, it’s really bad in some places! And another places it’s not too bad. I definitely took a gamble during this trip. So far it’s been mixed.
@ best wishes bro, have some extra fun on my behalf as I slave away at my 9 to 5 lol I gotta outsource my fun to you lot on youtube 😂
@pacyhitman I’m on it! 😅
