In today’s workout we will work for 45 seconds for each exercise and we will compelte three rounds of each exercise before moving to the next exercise. This workout is a great challenge for your lower body as we complete partial reps and unilateral work in addition to our normal to leg exercises. This workout will challenge your quads, hamstrings, and glutes, just grab your dumbbells and be ready to push yourself!
The Exercises:
1. Back Squat and ½
2. Lateral Lunge Glider
3. RDL to Sumo Squat
4. Left Leg Squat
5. Right Leg Squat
6. Squat to Lunge combo
7. Hamstring Curl with Dumbbell
8. Split Squat and ½ Left
9. Split Squat and ½ Right

Do not think that 30 minutes isn’t going to challenge you!!! I was spent after this. My favorite exercise was the Bulgarian split squat because I could feel how much stronger I’ve become.

that was hard - omg - my balance at 64 is not good and I struggled a lot with it today - I had to put a light hold on my treadmill arm in order to do some of those moves. The first move with the bench that you sit with one leg up and sit down with it up - epic fail! I had to touch my heel down with every sit and stand! all in all I know that I gave it the best I could today! Yesterday was a 45 minute glute and ab day and y legs are really shaking today thanks Sydney You are on amazing fit and strong lady - admiration for sure
Proud of you for doing these workouts. Do what works for you. Sydney gives so many modifications. Attempt those. Gives an equally good workout. I do that.
You are doing great! I just turned 60 and I also have difficulty with split squats (and I've been working out with Sydney since 2020!) I position my bench near a wall in case I have to grab on. There is no shame in that!!! I have progressed from body-weight only to up to one 8lb. dumbbell on split squats some days. Baby steps but progress! You can do it!

I do it for the feeling after the workout, I crave that feeling. 🎉 I keep showing up because I know how I feel once “I’ve made it to the cooldown“

I LOVED this one! Esp the hamstring curl! I havent been to a gym in years and love working out at home with dumbells, but there is certain equipment i really miss. Like the cable machine for hamstring curls. I never thought of using a dumbell like this! Would love to see more "equipment to dumbell version " moves! Thanks!

Really enjoyed this workout, love feeling stronger and more able. Sydney is really good at explaining the moves and giving multiple alternatives if you need them. Still trying to improve my technique on the split squats, though! Looking forward to my rest day tomorrow. Thank you Sydney!

Challenging, I tried to put a dumbbell between my feet, but was afraid I’d accidentally dropped it on back! Instead I strapped on my three pound Velcro weights! Love my legs! Thank you Sydney!!!

WOWWWWW what a workout! Legs are dead!! Did surprise myself on the squat lunge grabbed my 25 thinking it was the 20 and still got it done! Goes to show what you can do when you get your head out your way! And let’s not talk about the sweat that is pouring! Straight had to close my eyes thru one set cuz it was like a straight faucet!!
