Perhaps the 22 Miles Range is to do with
With the Types of Roads you take EVs hate motorway
If you do loads of Motorway Driving it will have a Negative impact on your EV range Vs city Driving ,also lugging around 20 inch rims don't help EV Efficiency nor fuel efficiency

Hi have the same issue with the range only showing 22 miles of range, sent it back to peugeot and got told there's nothing they can see wrong its abit frustrating. But other than that great car

I'm going to buy this car in the next few months so I have subscribed just to watch more of this series video about the 408.

@@Icestorm294 yes, I've bought it. Everything is perfect except the backrest of the rear seats is slightly steep which makes passengers feel very uncomfortable in a long trip. I must find a custom store to fix it. The engine is incredible with 218HP turbo, much better than my old Camry. Though my version is not a hybrid one.

In order to get the app working you need to have it opened before you start the engine and connect to android auto, at least for android that works. I have 308 and I love it!

What is the point of you having this car? You are not going to use it for its intended purpose!!

Pointless buying and reviewing if you don’t have a charger at home.

Cars that have to charge are pointless anyway...

I have a Peugeot 3008 and it's just the best car I have ever had in my life. I'm 52, always was a BMW guy, but hey, Peugeot have levelled up BIG TIME since 2014 and make brilliant cars , it's time to admit it. You don't like Peugeot ? I do.

Cartoonist review, this and most other youtube reviewers clearly misses the point of hybrid cars. A hybrid car combines an petrol engine for highway long distance travel and electric engine for in the city. 38 miles is plenty range for just travel in the city with plenty of charging posibilities. If you need to travel long distance on highway the petrol engine provides a better and more efficient and economic range than an electric car. With the current state of the battery technology and the choice of electric car manufacturers to fit small batteries in EV'S. PHEV'S are actually the better choice until EV'S provide mature highway range, which will be possible once 100 kw batteries become standard for EV's.
On a side note: Governments have been granting billions of taxpayers subsidies to EV manufactureres, yet none of them, especially Tesla, were able to produce reasonable affordable EV's with a decent range comparable to petrol engine car. Without subsidies these manufacturers commercially never would have been viable. So stop voting for so called green party loonies. They just are wasting billions of taxpayers money that could have been used and invested in other areas of the economy and provided well paid jobs.
