Love the way the windows look after you added more stones and mortar. It is remarkable what you were able to do. The workbench is a terrific addition. I just love how easy breezy you both are, working hard and enjoying life. ❤
You’re the best example of Expert Renovations & Healthy living! Benches r gorgeous! Victoria always takes the time to make a Healthy drink or snack from scratch & it hasn’t gone unnoticed! You two are such a joy to watch!! Absolutely a great job on this tables, a multitude of uses. What did you two do before you made the decision to take on this new way of life? Love how you work so well together! Hi, from Northern California!!
Great work bench Ricky and Victoria, that idea would be great for a kitchen bench. I love your videos, full of enthusiasm, laughter and love for what you are both achieving in your life.
All work and no play makes Jack and Jill (Ricky & Victoria) dull. I always scour the internet for your videos. I have watched (I think) all your videos from the very start. You are both so pleasant and entertaining (albeit doing serious projects) to watch. Keep going and God bless.
7:30 Weirdly exactly this week I 'invented' a new recipe for our local Brazilian Cheese Puff with, well, a dash of salt, honey and some lemon drops. After baking them as usual, cut them in half and gently pour just a bit of each, then close it again. If it's new for you and you ever decide to try it, tell me about it. In Portugal it might have the same name as in here, 'pão de queijo'. Also, I had the exact same problem and realization about the seedbeds being too wide when I built mine some 15 years ago... Amazing work you guys.
Fun as always. Clever Table, stone work, nice to see practical, last for years DIY. Poppy is so pretty I think every time I see him what a wonderful existence since you both took him into your loving care. Never miss a video, wait patiently.
I've truly enjoyed you two, your videos & the sponsored products mentioned in your videos. You all are awesome. Thanks for sharing. I appreciate, 😃. 20:21
Very very jealous of your workbench! I'm probably about twice your age and have yet to enjoy such a useful addition to the house build! My knees do not enjoy crawling around on the floor to assemble things, so congratulations to you both for getting around to this essential while you still have functional knees!
There is no summer for us in the Southern hemisphere 😮 But it doesn't stop me cracking up over you two lovely peeps. That bench or double bench is fabulous it's given me some ideas too. See you next week. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦🥶
The window sills look really nice, please make sure you check your shoes before you put them on,give them a good shake. We had to do that when we lived in Hong Kong because of the scorpion's.❤
You 2 have come so far! this offering is SO well edited and delightful story telling, the visuals are all so wonderfully done . AND your growth as builder/stone masons / food growers is phenomenal. you both (all 4?) seem to be blossoming brightly in Portugal. Really. SO happy when I see a new video from this channel.
That's going to be a very useful work bench. Is it me or has Ricky got a whole new collection of t-shirts after all his previous ones were destroyed when drilling out all of the concrete from the stonework.
Hi. I just binged watch all of your videos , it took several days. I am a fan and can't wait to see the farm finished (houses and land). Ricky you are doing great work for not knowing how to do it. Victoria you are suck an inspiration to watch while learning how to work all the tools and gardening. Keep up the good work.
The stonework under the window sills is perfect and the workbenches? Wow! Very clever design! Sorry about your potato-eating critters, that perfectly empty potato skin was kinda amazing! As always, beautiful videography and perfect background music. I thought Poppy’s haircut looked great and lovely to see Teddy having a snooze in the sun. Take good care❤
is both inspiring and heartwarming. The progress you've made is impressive, and your positivity is infectious. Thanks for sharing your journey-it's truly uplifting to see your dedication paying off!
Great job guys. The work around the sills looks great. We did the same thing with our bench years ago. It makes working with a drill saw so much easier. Ricky, hopefully one day you will build a workshop as we did to all the DIY projects you need to do. Nevertheless, You guys are killing it. All the best mates👍👍 Jim, Harriet and Yuki
I always love the opening of your videos to see the nature that surrounds you. Simply beautiful! Your dogs are such sweethearts! It looks like you're going to have a fun time refinishing the interior of your home. Hopefully some lighter work for a while. Enjoy your week!
Victoria you did a great job of Poppies coat she looks so pretty. Lovely job on the stone work under the sills Ricky. The workbench is great, wonderful design and brilliantly put together well done x
We always enjoy your videos but had to laugh at the way you interact with each other on this one. We are quite a bit older but still do this too. It's what makes a relationship work and brightens the day. Awesome job btw! Rose & Michael
Put tyres on the ground and grow your potatoes inside of them, you can go 3 up, when its time to dig them up you only have to pull the tyres up.You really need to build raised beds, much easier to work on, your back will love you, also, use straw to cover the beds, it will help with the heat drying the beds out plus you can dig it into the soil at the end of each season, building up the organic matter in the soil.
@@wendywalsh-pardey9439 It takes a long time for tyres to break down, even if it takes 6 to 10 years, you can change them, timber will rot especially cheap timbers like pine as I did, the worms and slaters plus rot destroyed them within two years, there's lots of materials you could use, but if money is a issue then you are limited, you could use railway sleepers, concrete, stones/bricks and mortar, old bath tubs, to name a few.
Hi Tarzan & Jayne. Nice bit of carpentry Ricky, well thought out, and good idea for the break in the garden Victoria. Re the swimming pool filtration, how about a filtration company reaching out to you, to sponsor one of your episodes. Best wishes as always, Paul, Swansea 👍👍
Noticed you have not put mulch in your vegetable beds. Pea straw or oat straw would be suitable (you will have sprouts but easily dealt with). This will reduce the ants as they like dry soil.
I keep looking several times per week for new videos too! Just discovered this delightful young couple a few weeks ago and quickly binge watched all I could find.
Just ordered my ReoLink Argus 4 Pro camera and used the LifebyLiving code! Looks like an awesome product and the price was uber reasonable. Thanks to you and them! Love and hugs from New Mexico USA.
If not tires, those huge aluminum wash tubs make great planters. You can even paint them if you want decorative planters. The nice thing is they're easy to move around and easy to keep your soil from washing away in rain. Since they're galvanized, no rust!!! I have a friend who painted them all primary colors and placed them around the garden. She had taken down a huge tree. She cut the trunk into big circles and used them as pillars for the tubs. If you want to keeps ants etc off above ground fruits and veg, wrap the plant in tulle. It works just as well as the commercial products for half the price. Your new bench would actually make a great kitchen island. Keep that design when you put in your kitchen. Add a shelf underneath about half way up for storing pots and pans etc. You could also use them as kitchen counters to make your kitchen adjustable to your needs for space or design.
I just want to say, How Enjoyable it is to watch you two. And Well Done on the work bench!!!!!
I totally agree! So enjoyable and awesome work bench!!😊
Thanks for watching Sandra ❤

very true. Ricky puts a lot of thought into each project.

Having the bench in the tiny house has really helped to give an idea of space for the kitchen! 😃
Everything is looking so good. That work bench is awesome. The stone work under the sills looks beautiful. Bravo guys.
It was a tight space under the sills but I think Ricky did a good job too! 😊
Clever design for the workbench, sweet and adorable doggies, phenomenal work on the tiny house, and best of all -- darn good company!

It's so satisfying building a workbench by yourself, I did it last year, put my mitre saw on it and never look back.
Couldn’t agree more! We’ve only just started to use it yet can’t imagine being without it now! 😄

When tires break down they release by products from rubber into the soil. I got rid of mine.
Yep release cancer causing substances into soil
