Great video! I like that you addressed "chub rub"! I bring earplugs to the parks as well (I like Mack's Ear Seals $5 for two pairs, they're silicone and reusable for months. Find them in Walgreens or sporting goods stores in the swimming section), because my ears are sensitive and Disney wants the hard of hearing to be able to enjoy their attractions! Fireworks are painfully loud for me. I've been searching for a mini backpack, but I might check out your hipster bag! A couple of things I would add are lip balm with SPF, a portable charger (mine is a $12 Anker from amazon), crystal lite for refilling your water bottle with water fountain water (idk, maybe Fl water is better than Anaheim water), ibuprofen and Imodium AD (this might be gross, but a bout of diarrhea once ruined an early entry day for my family. Not so magical of a morning), sunglasses (maybe that's too obvious), Dry Pack ($12 on Amazon.com and it's essentially a durable waterproof bag on a string that you can bring on water rides, check Facebook from the pool, take pictures and video while on the water rides!), and of course, your favorite MICKEY EARS !!!
Kristen Kruse Thank you so much for that list! This is amazing. I am going to save this! I have been looking at Minne ears on Etsy and they are VERY TEMPTING. xo
Idea for super comfy and stylish shoes for Disney! Sanuk sandles or flipflops. They are AMAZING! They are made from yoga mats so you are literally walking on your own personal yoga mat and they form to your feet.
Yesssss. I've been mainlining your videos since I found your channel. :) I will definitely be getting one of those belkin wall plugs! Amazing, especially now with the portable chargers its so easy to leave behind a cord or a charging box in the room this will make things super easy when they're all in one place! I totally agree about the hand sanitizers and the scent/memory association. Its so nice to be hit with the memory of your trip, of where you were sitting/what you were doing when used that scent last.
I am always amazed at the people wearing heels at Disney! Especially on one trip when we saw a guy wearing them. I mean come on that is totally asking for blisters! 😜
I actually found some pretty Tevas! Iridescent ones they're almost like an oil spill. A little more expensive than the usual ones but worth it. Thanks for the advice! :)
Going to Disney World parks for the first time in April; this video was super helpful! I wouldn't have thought of disposable ponchos for the water rides.
Great list, I think everything was spot on! From going to Disney, the only thing I wish I brought was one of those mobile batteries to charge my phone. My sister brought hers and she had almost full battery the whole day, but my phone died (also I was using the app A LOT to check wait times for rides) so that's all I'd wish I brought :) Also maybe a smaller bag, I had a backpack and it was pretty gnarly.
Literally rewatched this a few times to take notes for packing for our trip. I cannot wait to see your vlogs!! Super super excite!! =) You'll have to let me know how the weather is down there. Have a safe trip!
This is perfect! We leave in 11 days...your vlogs are getting me so excited for Disney! Love the chub rub stuff! probably don't need it if I'm wearing leggings though, right? Another good one that I got from another UA-camr was Moleskin, by Dr. Scholls. It's this cloth like band aide stuff that you cut into strips and put on where you get blisters, great for preventing them or if you get them! So excited for you two!!!
Ok I'm going for a week to Disney World and all of these were super helpful! I'm just trying to make sure there is nothing I'm forgetting. I just subscribed because you seem super nice!
This is your first video I came across and tell me why I just binged watched all of your videos?? Lol Thanks so much for sharing your disney experiences and your tips were super helpful. I am assuming you're on a weightless journey because I could deff. Tell the difference from your January trip from your September trip. Keep it up girl!! You and your sister are super funny and your OOTD scenes inspired me to start buying Disney outfits already (even though are trip isn't until January 2016). And I can't wait to make your chicken receipe!! Btw I would love if you could post of video of the steps you take to book a Disney trip. From like how to get good rates, how to chose a hotel and even booking fast passes. Sarah
Aw, thank you so much for saying hello! I'll keep a Disney planning video in mind! Thank you for your kind words. I have gained a little since the Disney trip but it's time to get serious again!
i always bring my own water to the parks. i freeze it and put it in a bag so that it melts and i have ice water! it is so much cheaper than buying the water there!
I am going to Disney World in 21 days for my honeymoon. I got us matching mr and mrs t-shirts before hand because I can't remember if they sell them in the parks. I haven't been in 4 years and I have a Disney deprivation thing going on. lol I have been like 20 times (not joking). I have watched all of your videos on being at Disney your past two times and a few others. I'm glad I did because A LOT has changed since I was there and I won't feel that lost anymore.
Helpful hint..(I hope) , if you apply the sunscreen 20-30 minutes before going in the water, your skin has time to absorb it and you dont have to reapply as often. Hope it helps...
hi! loved your video! I was wondering if you were walking around all day in those sandals and if they gave you blisters or not. also, why did you choose those sandals over running shoes? thanks!
+Aly Alfaro I was and they are very comfy! I choose sandals in summer because they are cool and dry quickly after rainshowers or rides like Splash Mountain :)
Reagan Bosquet I've never been that time of year, but I'd say when it's busy get to the gates half an hour before park opening and use that first hour to get on rides that will have much longer lines later in the day.
I check, because I go for 7 days and like to do some shopping. But I've gone with carry on before and it's doable if you aren't bringing anything back.

I'll be in Disney the first week in June...and I'm not the skinniest chick around (no thigh gap here!)...... so I'm definitely going to need that chub rub stick!! :) :)
O_O Omg, I didn't chubrub was a thing. ~_~ You just made my trip to disney a billlllllllllion times better. I always have to wear shorts thanks to chubrub. T_T

+Jackie C I got proper Merrill walking shoes for this trip since I am rapidly becoming an old lady! It's gonna be cold down there!

+Cynthia Rebeca There are certain scents that take me back to WDW instantly!
Watching your videos makes me more and more excited for my Disney Senior Trip this summer
+Hannah Noelle YAY! What an awesome way to celebrate graduation!
I am always amazed at the people wearing heels at Disney! Especially on one trip when we saw a guy wearing them. I mean come on that is totally asking for blisters! 😜
We just saw a girl in heels and a dress with cut outs! Loved her style but she is going to be COLD!
I actually found some pretty Tevas! Iridescent ones they're almost like an oil spill. A little more expensive than the usual ones but worth it.
Thanks for the advice! :)
Tevas are the best ! I had a pair of closed toe hiking Tevas I used for everything when we lived in Hawaii.
Going to Disney World parks for the first time in April; this video was super helpful! I wouldn't have thought of disposable ponchos for the water rides.
+Cheryl Anne Fernandez You are going to have an amazing time Cheryl!
I recently purchased the hipster bag to go with my regular tote. The mickeys are a sweet touch. I love the hipster! So spacious!
BTW I love this video! Really helpful! Most people only state the really obvious things like water but ur video was so helpful
+Vivi Bubbles Thanks Vivi! I tried to really narrow down to the stuff it took me a couple of trips to learn to bring.
Just got home from Disney World. You are a lifesaver with the chub rub suggestion. I would not have even thought about that. Thank you so much :)
+dliev41807 It's the best! Hope you had a wonderful time! xo
Found a chafing stick at shoppers drug mart. They don't make the band aid one either. It's life brand if your interested.

+casa vita Good call.
Yes to fanny packs! We call them bum-bags in the UK and they are SO useful on any kind of holiday in my opinion. Great advice :)
Yes I know fanny means something quite different across the pond. Lol.
Haha it certainly does!
Literally rewatched this a few times to take notes for packing for our trip. I cannot wait to see your vlogs!! Super super excite!! =) You'll have to let me know how the weather is down there. Have a safe trip!
Looks like it will be sunny and mild to chilly. Hoping for the best!
Loved your tips! I had nooooo idea bandaid made that stick! You just saved my vacation legs. Lol fingers crossed I can find it in Newfoundland. :)

I found the moleskin didn't work well for me, but I know plenty love it! I'm so excited to get going! We're delayed but in good spirits.
Have a safe flight and have an awesome time, looking forward to your Disney vlogs.
Thank you!
Ok I'm going for a week to Disney World and all of these were super helpful! I'm just trying to make sure there is nothing I'm forgetting. I just subscribed because you seem super nice!

Michelle Bentley Thank you!
2nd time of watching this! Got some of the items and trying to choose a cool bumbag (fanny pack ) for me and my little girl !
Louise Cooper They're tough to find but I've had good luck at TK Maxx.
Gillian At Home Oooh thanks for the tip. I have a TK maxx locally, will take a look.
Spencer's has them !
We dont leave till May but your vids make me excited, the bandaid stick is gods gift to thigh rubbing never heard of it before you!!1
You're going to get way better weather than us! May is a wonderful time to visit. :)
Love these ideas. Thanks.
hi! loved your video!
Another lip product that really stays on is jordana matte lip creams!
Thanks for the PONCHO REMINDER!
+Kassandra W They are ESSENTIAL
I love your lip color!
Safe travels to you and Hilary!
Thanks Carmen! We're delayed but in good spirits.
With the fanny pack, do you go through bag security or regular admission?
Bag security I think
Me and my brother just walk through the rain while everyone else buys ponchos and stuff cuz we're from New England and anything is better than snow
+Riley Lyn as a Canadian, I find that extremely relatable.
really helpful video. That chub rub is a killer :)
MrDirkles Too true. I forgot it when we went to Mexico and had to make due with anti-perspirant as chub rub stick!
Great tips. Thanx 😀
hey Gillian which Tevas do you have?
OMG I just realized it when you said it they really didn't seek him anywhere
Have a fabulous time!
Thanks girl!
Thanks girl!
Great tips! Have a safe flight!
Thanks girl!
I'm going in November for thanksgiving! Any tips? Anything?
Reagan Bosquet I've never been that time of year, but I'd say when it's busy get to the gates half an hour before park opening and use that first hour to get on rides that will have much longer lines later in the day.
Do you have any advice on wearing makeup to disney? o: like i don't want any of my concealer or foundation melting off at random times lol
achievement-gems Covergirl Outlast foundation in the glass bottle with the blue cap pump. I wear Nude Beige. THE BEST!
thanks!! :)
giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl im a skinny mini, size 0/00 and i cant TELL YOU that in Disney World, i chafe. amen
+AmmieeXO THAT IS SO COMFORTING.
Chub rub! Haha ... I'm giggling, but I'm also totally buying a chaffing stick lol
MomReviews It's WORTH IT.
What is it?
Just re watched your video while I pack for my Disney trip. Next Saturday I will be in WDW !!! I need to find some chub rub....just in case. :)
Lana Woodall Ah! Have an amazing time! I know you'll appreciate so much extra since you were delayed.
Thanks Gillian. :) So true! It will be an awesome Mothers Day for me and my Mom to be in MK.
Hi,
Dumb question, what exactly is chub rub..?
I don't know it neither!
Chaffing, it's when you're skin runs together, usually on your thighs and it causes a rash that can get pretty painful
Chub rub is whenever your thighs or upper arms rub skin to skin and it causes friction or a heat rash, very painful
What hotel did you stay at? I'm going in April and we are trying to find the best hotel.
+Brianna Martin I've stayed in a bunch. Check out my vlogs for a look at each of them.
+Gillian At Home thanks so much!
Do you check a bag? Or can you get it all in a carry on? Thanks.
I check, because I go for 7 days and like to do some shopping. But I've gone with carry on before and it's doable if you aren't bringing anything back.
hi i am leaving in december would i still need the -band aid- thing ?
queen sara TBD. It was pretty chilly when Hilary and I were there in January so we were in leggings and pants. You can use anti-perspirant in a pinch!
thanks :)
Cute purse! No gum at Disneyworld? Is it because people don't throw it away and it makes a mess? Have a safe flight!
Exactly!
People do not properly dispose of gum and straws so [especially in Animal Kingdom] they don't provide it for the safety of the creatures. No choking the birds to death ^.^
Like the plastic can keeper to manatees
I know I'm late but I JUST stumbled across this channel

Great video!
+cazy wade Thanks Cazy!
Is there a website to get the shoes you talk about?
+Melissa Lynch I'd check amazon!
I'll be in Disney the first week in June...and I'm not the skinniest chick around (no thigh gap here!)...... so I'm definitely going to need that chub rub stick!! :) :)
***** It's a miracleworker!
Where did you get that fanny pack?!
+Xajfxo Forever21! Had to toss it after my sister wore it while she had a stomach flu tho!
I don't go without a portable charger like a Halo which charges your iPhone
I used to have one of those but I got an iPhone 6+ and it is HUGE but has great battery life.
