I wanted a green kindle. Said it would ship in two months. 😢 I got black instead. Now I’m wishing I had taken the chance to see if it will really take that long.
I wish I had bought the Paperwhite version instead of the base one just cuz' of the screen warmth feature. If the base one had it, it'd be a perfect match.
@@xojazzle I have only used a kindle oasis so this comment will be heavily biased towards it, however I do have experience with my younger brother's kobo which is a clone of the kindle basic I believe due to its small size. I have no recent experience since... my younger brother did what a younger brother does and broke it. Here is my review of the kindle oasis 2. The build quality of the device is solid with a sturdy, reliable feeling frame and a gorgeous screen with a very pleasing, almost symmetrical design. Just seeing and feeling the device screams fine craftsmen ship and premium quality which makes it feel nice to own. The device also feels like a dream to use. The build is light weight and can easily be carried around everywhere, the curve or grip feels comfortable and is a nice place to put my... probably smaller than you hand and the screen is bright and responsive and again, looks bloody gorgeous which makes looking at it feel like a luxury compared to the kobo and... what makes the device feel really special is the water resistance and those tactile buttons. Those who have never used buttons will never know how much you need them. The tactile feed back makes the device feels so much more satisfying, convenient and natural to use, making them my preferred way to use a Kindle. The water resistance/proof feature is also amazing as it means I can read books in the rain now. I have been using the device since 2018 and currently do not see myself changing it. The battery lasts almost 3 weeks, more if not in use and the device still looks almost brand new, the only thing giving it away being the very small bump on one of the device's edge. I cannot comment on amazon service with this device as I pirate and sideload ebooks which work very well with the device. If I buy the book, It has to be physical and preferably hardback. I did message amazon this year to remove ads which they did do for free... however they forced my device to update, completely changing the ui. I might jailbreak the device to make it the older one. If you have the spare cash, I highly recommend getting one... if you plan on only having one ereader. I'll only upgrade when amazon brings in usb c or colored e ink or if the device stops functioning. In my opinion, owning multiple kindles don't make a lot of sense since... How many do you need for reading books? If it makes sense to you, I'm interested in knowing why. Also, I have never used the bluetooth audiobook feature since I have no interest in that. I would rather listen to music and... it does not even have a headphone jack so my sennheiser hd are worthless with it. Again if it appeals to you, im curious why. Does it come with VoiceView to read the books out loud? Does it have actually any audio output, like a speaker, a 3mm headphones port, or Bluetooth? I’m a person with vissual disabilities and is indispensable for people like me
А если включить "режим в полёте", то зарядка будет держаться гораааздо дольше. Плюс я заметил тот факт, что после 2-3 зарядки, киндл стал держать заряд дольше. Имхо

Kindle Unlimited is a subscription service that gives you access to tons of free books. You pay a monthly fee and can pick any book you want to read and keep it for as long as you want. I think there is a limit to how many you can have at once, but I'm not sure what it is.
