- I set up BeamMP to play with other players in BeamNG. So this is my first time drifting in BeamNG Drive Multiplayer. If you join a BeamNG server, it will download all the required mods you need. Wheel support works and the drifting physics are good. I did not notice much lag and if you collide with other players then both of your cars get damage.

The easiest car to drift in this game in my opinion is a maxed-out long cab diesel D-Series pickup. The long wheelbase makes it really controllable.
Actually. I've made custom config with d15 maxed out AT diesel drift truck. And its really good

@@epg1714 Well mine started off as an offroad build with AWD and offroad tires but I quickly realized that if I lock the rear differential and send all the power to the rear, it drifts incredibly well.
The Gavril Barstow drift version is pretty good for drifting too

the jbx 100 has this bug when locking out when counter steering, my wheel does the same thing, instead of using the special steering angle and front axle, I use the default drift suspension on stock front axle. Drifts more realistically and removes the problem :)

It's not bug, when suspension part get's damaged the counter steering stop working
@@failedmeteor6172 It happens even when the car isn't damaged, I lock all the way to the left or right and make a U turn it starts shaking.
Ah yes, today I learned a lot of things:
-Goosiest's wheel is hard (dayum)
-Goosiest is scared of balls, specially orange balls.
-His car got hot (overheated, what u thinking i meant?)
-Goosiest learned the concept of oversteer and understeer the hard way.
I can’t imagine trying to drift in beamng without mods 💀

It's all just more accessible with mods at first I think. Then when the counter steering and snappiness become more familiar then the official cars are easier

Your video was very entertaining I laughed from starting to end do more on beamng multiplayer really enjoyed it ;)
When you spectate others you can reset their car by pressing insert so that it doesnt annoy you that they are damaged(ofc on their screen your reseting wont actually affect them)
Also when you spectate them/switch to their car you can go into cars and press "clone current" on the top right of the screen. You will exactly copy their tune and setup that way
For the next time: if you join a server you are automatically in „freecam“. You can enter that (also in singleplayer) with shift + c. You can control it with WASD and you can also move faster with the cam with shift. If you find a place to spawn a car u can press f7 there
BeamNG is like an all or nothing game, love the crash physics.
I've enjoyed drifting single player but you've just opened a whole new reason to play this game again

Nice video Goose, but i have to note you about something. If you play BeamMP, you need to have the chat enabled if someone says something. Also, on some servers you can get kicked or even banned if not having the chat. If you don't know how to get the chat on, basically you need to go to the menu, the same thing where you change cars, time and other stuff. When on the menu, you can find "UI Apps", and then click the plus icon and you can find "Multiplayer Chat" UI App somewhere
That's a weird requirement.

@@x1c3x Well, imagine this. Youre driving on a cruise server, on the wrong side of the road, or without using blinkers for example. Then, people note you in chat, for example "Could you please drive on the other side?" or "Could you use your blinkers?". Then you don't see the messages and are not following the rules. Then, people will get angry and kick you (or ban you)... So yes, that's why. Many people in BeamMP like to play on servers where people follow the rules, because especially BeamNG can get chaotic🤣
when u see a orange ball u need to sync the players. its at the bottom where u tune your car. also u need to turn down the specific ffb which is also in the tuning menu.. the new physics have changed alot of the feel

for some reasom the jbx is also a little snappy for me when drifiting. I found that adding power steering to it in the veichle configurator made it a lot better for me with my ffb settings.

one of the reasons the wheel may be stiff is when you use beamMP it changes all the settings back to the original stock settings

Not only drift servers but in any multiplayer server the physics are kind of different than the normal game
when someone tries to spawn in a car that the server doesn't have it'll just appear as a ball and it's kinda funny
Just so you know @goosiest the car you used in the beginning was a amid and sometimes force feedback can be messed up on some third party mods

When you ask if drift servers have different physics, if your talking abt how easy they damage, the answer is no. Usually if you tap somthing like a wall, the whole front bumper can come off in a normal server.

heyyy Goosseee! In beamng if u switch to another people (spectate with "tab") then you press "esc" click on the wrench icon and click "clone" and you sucsessfully cloned his car!

Ngl when I started sim drifting I didn’t realize head motion was a thing so I spent 2 years learning to drift without it then ran across it by accident and had to relearn how to drift
I have a Fanatec DD. When i let go of the steering wheel it keeps wobbling left and right in the same frequency. i tried to put the dampening ingame to max. still the wobbling. i saw many people not have that problem. what is going on? What setting would i have to change to make tihs playable?
