Pferde haben einen eigenen Kopf wie wir Menschen, da Stimme ich zu . Aber nur weil Pferde so etwas in der freien Natur nicht gewohnt sind gleich so einen Aufstand zu machen...
Ein Pferd weiss selbst am besten wann es nicht mehr kann und wann es seine Grenzen überschreitet. Wenn es wirklich am Ende wäre würde es Steigen, Austreten, etc.
Und bevor einer mit dem "Du hast wahrscheinlich selbst keine Erfahrung" ankommt , sage ich euch Süßen, dass ich selbst seit über 10 Jahren Dressur betreibe. Man muss nur mit dem Pferd umgehen können und Dressur / Springreiten o.a. wird auch dem Pferd Spaß machen und man baut zugleich auch noch eine Bindung auf . By the way werden Gerten , Sporen etc immer wieder von den Ahnungslosen überschätzt. Sie dienen nur dafür die das Pferd etwas "anzustupsen" um ungefähr zu sagen " Hey mach mal Hinne " , oder " Jz bist du dran " , versteht ihr was ich meine?
Nun ja , ich hoffe ich konnte ein paar die Augen öffnen und ich entschuldige mich schonmal wenn ich etwas falsch verstanden habe.
Ich möchte jz auch keinen neuen Beef anfangen oder Stress bekommen. Wir sind hier in den UA-cam Kommentaren, da wo man immer seinen Senf dazu geben kann 😅
@Nele Wöst Da gebe ich dir vollkommen Recht . Aber Les dir mal die ganzen Kommentare durch (vorallem die Deutschen) . Für mich sieht es schon fast danach aus als würden alle irgendetwas suchen um es gleich schlecht machen . Klar , Dressur ist nicht gerade sooo toll fürs Pferd (z.B. Rollkur) aber bei ganz normaler Dressur mit Piaffe und allem ist es echt übertrieben einen Abstand zu machen. Wie gesagt , man muss nur mit dem Pferd richtig umgehen können und sich auch Zeit für alles lassen .

Us equestrian, we get “words” from non intelligent people.
They keep saying hbr (horse back riding) isn’t a sport. We just sit there. The horses do all the work.
But as I know, we don’t just sit there. You have to work with the horse. You have to be working together, you and your horse. We, have to train our horses for them to cooperate with us. So, yea. We totally don’t just sit there and the horses do all the work 😃

Going through that with Capo. He’s teaching me to ride through nerves . He’s bucked me off once but mainly does things like pull the reigns out of my hands. I just tell myself he’s just being a teacher. I know when I progress to harder tasks with him it’ll be because he evolved me to be tougher.

This song relates to me so much about a riding school pony that I love 😭 I’ve done 2 competitions with him and the first was a cross country, he bolted in the warm up arena and then spooked at a bramble bush. The second one was a showjumping and he went into a really fast canter as soon as I gave one click and he flew over the jumps like they were nothing. I got 8th on him as we knocked one pole down. I was proud of him for not messing up, but I still can’t forgive him for the first comp. He’d been in a competition before, he’d done cross country before, he’s seen a bramble bush before, he’s seen a warm up arena before! Most of the time when this happens I switch horses (because I don't have a horse I ride barn ponies and horses) but for some reason this time I feel like I can’t leave this pony 🥺
You've got this! Even the most bomb proof horse has its moments. There was a 30 year old mare at a barn I rode at that let tiny kids ride her and she was super safe, but one day when no one was riding her she spooked at a broom I was holding and tried to run away. It's hard to understand what's going through their heads sometimes but if you feel like this horse is one you can grow to trust as he learns to trust you then I think you should go for it!
Awww thank you so much ❤️ This means a lot to me. I am actually now growing out of this pony, I’m having to ride a bigger horse now. I still ride him sometimes though. The bigger horse is the safest at the barn and I actually find it kinda boring because I pretty much know how to ride. I like a challenging horse.

@@unicornpoodles5552 I get what you mean, I've gone back and forth and there are definitely perks to both worlds. The mare I currently have is pretty spooky but also safer and lazier than the mare I used to have, even though she was braver. 🤔 It's really weird now that I think about it. But I think there's a balance between being dedicated to your horse and knowing when it's time to continue your journey growing and learning with a new horse to become a part of your heart. 😁 I try not to beat myself up for moving on because some times it's just better for both the horse and rider when we've learned as much as we can with each other

All equestrians are my heros. They fully trust their horse to carry them safely. If you don’t trust your horse then you can’t really call yourself an equestrian because the bond between the horse and you means everything. Everything with animals is based on trust. If a dog doesn’t trust you, they bite you. If a horse doesn’t trust you, they kick. So if you trust your horse and the horse trusts you and you *can* work together in harmony, you are a true equestrian and I can call you my hero

random person tbf I think it’s the most dangerous sport. The risk we take for the animals is insane. They control the ball, they control the racket, and we attempt to control a 200KG animal. Sometimes, the attempts fail.
I love horses. I have had to official riding school lessons but have rode before on a rescue horse at stables i volenteer at and it is alot harder as he is very stubborn. I can do rising trot and cant wait to get better :)

I like the video but I wish the horse wasn’t galloping on the pavement or on the street and jumping the chairs and table because it hurts their hooves and it’s not good for them
