Not gonna lie. That was intense just watching. Good job!!! You are a true grit inspiration to many. Thank you Jamie for all that you do and for your videos.
Fantastic! Great to see the contrast between the two viewpoints. The helicopter shot makes it all look so smooth and serene, whilst the helmet cam shows it a real wild ride. And not a burger in sight!
I've watched this about 17 times now.....Jamie Jamie Jamie! You are up there with all the f!"£en legends and you're an amazing inspiration! Love your riding stye and how grounded you are as a person! I hope to see more and more of you on videos and maybe in person someday! Peace dude!! (and your team!)
Wow, that was an amazing trip to the summit. Thanks for the fantastic video. Remember, never go faster than your guardian angel can fly... greetings from germany
Amazing to have the helicopter footage of your run, that in itself takes this ride to the next level, having rode this twice myself while on holiday and the deja view you get watching your run at full speed with no traffic... so cool. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Jamie, that was an amazing run, especially on an essentially a stock Multistrada. I just rode up the mountain on a stock Multistrada Enduro this past July and can’t imagine the thrill and guts it takes to do it at the speeds you were hitting. What an incredibly talented and humble rider you are. Looking forward to more videos this year.
I'm a first-time watcher and that was fantastic. The heli-cam shots are spectacular but don't in way show the shear violence that the helmet cam does. Great skill and bottle. Well done Jamie. One happy new subscriber.
Haha, yes, its danger all the way, but thats what made Pikes Peak Hill Climb so unique and difficult on a motorcycle, no room for any kind of mistakes.Very intense, hence my scream at the summit! :)
Superb Jamie - just Superb. Great to see the two view points - helicam so cool and beautifully smooth yet your helmet cam showed the true wild ride. Respect m8.
..Poh Ducati......hihihihi......STUNNING video, as always, thanks Jamie, if i ve enjoyed i dont know how much you ………..helmet,light on and see you at the next, bye
Isn’t it a truly different mindset perspective when racing or riding. Unless you were or are a racer, you doing truly know the different mindset you need to develop from street riding when on a track or in a race. A race like Pikes Peak or the Isle of Mann are in themselves different than a track race. Each has there own parameters you need to prepare for. On the track you have the opportunity to tune your race into a grove. With Pikes Peak you get one shot to hit it right. I guess you could say that about a hill climb race as well. Again, Congrats on the score you set on the mountain, an amazing ride.
Maaaaaate smashed it epic run!! Cna t wait to get back to LA n hang will be moving out there this Yr!! I'll come hunt ya down on a freeway somewhere soon 🤘🤘 can't believe Ill never get a chance to have a go up the hill on a bike :( gunna have to build a car then!! Again epic ride ya bloody legend 🤘❤️🤘
Wow Jamie.... I have the same bike, well the stock version of it, as the one u raced here. It is mind blowing what u did with it. I was $#! £ing myself just watching it. Yo throttle hand shows just how loose u holding onto the bike.
Crazy good riding, dude! I wonder...do you remember your feelings / thoughts when you watch this? I'd love to hear / read your commentary on the stuff you remember. "Whoa, that was close!" or "Dang; wrong gear!!" I'm especially curious about 11:13 to 11:16...those were some insane bumps! Anyway, thoroughly enjoy your channel and your style!
Yeah lost the rear as it spun up coming out of the corner, and then hit a few bumps, a wild bit for sure! Some helmet commentary here: ua-cam.com/video/nAkFtIFSqjs/v-deo.html
Looking at 10:30 - Was this the year that the Cycle World / Roland Sands "Project 217" bike was on pace for a good finish, but died and coasted to a stop right there?
Yes, well spotted! Big shame, the rider, bike and project was awesome, and a big effort went in to it for it unfortunately end there. Racing can be cruel sometimes.
Love seeing these types of videos. Hopefully PPIHC decide to allow bikes to run again, not as interested in seeing the cars go up as they’ve become less and less interesting
Spun up the rear on the way out, then it hit a bump and broke away, I stayed on the gas as it was leading onto a fast section, and it bucked in protest for a while, that was the 'wild' bit :)
Amazing Jamie, I watched your series on this last year & it’s amazing - think my Multi is broken, definitely can’t do this with me on it!! Any chance Duc would let you have a go on Pikes Peak this year with a V4 Panigale?
nice video! i notice you turn off the throttle while upshit? and blipping the throttle while downshift? are the multistrada equiped with ducati quickshit...
Jamie, I rode with my wife on an Electraglide up Pikes Peak and have been round the IOM course on my VFR. Have you been round the IOM course, if so how would you compare the 2 courses? Great video.
Yes, raced the IOM TT in 2008, both events are very different. The IOM is much faster and longer, more to learn.....but you get laps and more practice. Pikes Peak is v-tough as practice is limited and done at 5am - 7am, and they split the corse up into three, as cars are practicing on the other sections. The race is the ONLY time you piece it all together and ride to the summit in one go....intense! Both are epic races, loved racing both.
Amazing ride, Jamie! Bloody well done, mate. I personally think the helmet cam would have been better mounted on top, you were so far tucked in that a lot of the time all we can see is handlebars! 😁
This is MAD Jamie. Lets hope they find away for bikes to be back there racing again soon.. Just wondering if the lack of safety affected how hard you pushed? If that was a closed circuit with motogp grade gravel runoffs would you have ridden differently/any harder. Not that it looked like you did, that looked balls out to me..
Sure are.... But bikes like these (and the KTM super duke) are as fast if not faster on these type of roads, he didn't see faster than 110mph on that run... Still effing fast
Wow seeing a complete run makes me appreciate how physically demanding that must be especially when the air thins out! Epic ride Jamie!!
Riding a Multistrada like a superbike and riding a CBR600RR like a dirt bike, Stuff of legends. Amazing Run.
Not gonna lie. That was intense just watching. Good job!!! You are a true grit inspiration to many. Thank you Jamie for all that you do and for your videos.
I rode Pikes Peak in the summer of '19. That mountain is bloody scary, even at a leisurely tourist pace. Deep respect for the racers!
Fantastic! Great to see the contrast between the two viewpoints. The helicopter shot makes it all look so smooth and serene, whilst the helmet cam shows it a real wild ride. And not a burger in sight!
What a thrilling ride on the razor's edge! This guy has big balls! Respect from a biker who still has a long way to go to reach this level!
Another brilliant ride Jamie.

Helluva run Jamie
camera angle from bikes is so awsome, next time should try apple11pro
Having driven to the Peak in all weather conditions. i still get white knuckled to the summit and back down. The video feels as intense.
Jamie, you got some guts pushing it with those steep drop-offs man
fantastic
And breathe 🥵, man you have to do the TT, great ride Jamie🏍✊
This definitely proves to me that nobody will ever need a bike faster than a multistrada on the street. That thing was scary fast.
Great run Jamie and superb view! Next time please put a microphone behind the windscreen or something 😁

Just what i was thinking. Stick a 80$ zoomh1n under the seat and we could have listened to that fabulous Ducati exhaust.

No more Pikes Peak for motorcycles after Carlin Dunne's accident in 2019. R.I.P.
There was a yellow light on (on the bottom of the dash) for Most of the ride, what is it for?
