Small project but still needed to be done. Factory Jeep Cherokee speakers are no good. Just a video showing what's involved in replacing door speakers and rear roof. Good thing is the xj has same size so I got a set of 4 for $160.00. Thanks for watching!! - Авто та транспорт

Did you spray paint your dome lights and speaker covers or did they come like that?
I painted them with a trim paint.
Did you need a speaker bracket? The factory Liberty is 6 3/4" and Crutchfield says it does but yours doesnt seem to need them because the holes line up
These speakers didn't need anything extra to mount up in my cherokee. I can't speak for the liberty but Crutchfield is a good company with good info.
What size rear speakers did you use
They are 6.5inch and all 4 are the same
Will they work with the factory 1992 cassette am fm radio?
I don't see why they wouldn't. But I think to get the best sound it may be time to upgrade the radio also.
@@nextweeksadventure valid point. I just want to keep things as close to factory as possible.
You can check on crutchfield's website to ensure they fit the factory locations. But as far as the speaker working with the radio any of them will work. Make sure to get the speaker connection adapters makes hooking up a ton easier.
what do I search up to buy the adapters and new wires?
It has been a while since I did this but I'm fairly certain everything came from Crutchfield.
What year is your Cherokee? mine is a 2001 xj will it fit?
Mine is a 98 so everything should be the same.
My wires are broken :/
same problem, gonna have to go through with speaker wire and re do the entire jeep
