Most of these tracks are very personal for her, but even in “Send My Love To John” where she isn’t even talking about herself, still explores a topic that affects a lot of members of the LGBTQ+ community, a lot of which are part of her fanbase. She is a lyrical genius and her and Clarence are a production duo for the books!! ❤️🔥
I came to the comments to tell you to react to her debut album SAWAYAMA and saw multiple people telling you the same haha but you really should! I would love to see you breaking down each song, even if I can't understand half of the things you're saying cause I know next to nothing about music; it's just vibes for me. You should also check out her tiny desk live concert where she performs three songs from that album. While we are at it, her EP RINA is also excellent. Quite refreshing to have someone analysing Rina's musical composition. Most reactions just analyse the lyrics. Like everyone is saying, I think you will enjoy Rina's first album. Also, you will love Janelle Monae's stuff.
I cried several times during this, being overwhelmed by your attention to detail and ability to appreciate every part of the song, but also the song overall and the lyrics and message. Keep doing what you’re doing, amazing work.

Still a standout for me and gets stuck in my head all the time! Such a great reference for that power pop but kind of mysterious sound. Definitely agree with the Gaga influence.
