    Bio individuality
    Bio individuality
Bio individuality people! I was reading some comments here and some quickly got critical about Dr Sara’s food selections. TRY WHAT WORKS FOR U! I feel that Dr Sara is being sooooo transparent here with out us knowing her medical history. That would take hours! Use this video of her’s as a guideline not a Bible.♥️

All good stuff. Thanks so much for info! I just ordered your book! I’m plant based & take Tahiro vegan Omega 3 vs fish oil. At 54 my menopause symptoms have been loss of period & that’s it! I feel better than I ever have! I exercise daily & eat all day, as long as it’s plants. I do a 4-7 day water fast ever few months.

I always appreciate Dr. Sara's helpful breakdown for how our body actually processes what we ingest from alcohol to a cupcake! I don't feel as guilty when I do eat something sweet, but I'm reminded that I am in control of what habits I set or break! I still your book handy for when I need reminders!

I enjoyed your video so much, I have watched it several times. I find myself skipping breakfast and not eating all day, because I have run out of options for meals. My food allergies has gotten to the point I just cannot find anything to eat anymore. I also have a condition in my hand, and between that ailment and my thyroid disorder, it is very difficult. I weigh less than I did in high school. I ordered your new book and really hope there will be menu plans that I can work with. Thank you for sharing your eating plan, and supplement program with us. It was very helpful.

One thing I did find is that I'm unable to take supplements recommended as the coatings have methylcellulose which can cause serious allergic reactions. I've never been allergic, but we discovered that this gel coating is what has caused my throat, tongue, and lips to swell requiring an epi-pen. Just wanted to share in case others have had allergic reactions to supplements or shellfish - it's not the vitamin nor the fish, but likely the coating or the filler or preservative over the food. So many of the recommendations are super and really have helped me!

It’s important to remember we are all individuals and our bodies process food differently. I have a severe gluten allergy and have been gluten free for 20 years. In the last year I’ve eliminated all grains and am feeling better do to diabetes because grains and beans we’re raising my blood sugar really high . So it makes sense my body is more sensitive and it intolerant as I age. I also stopped eating all beans to help keep my blood sugar lower. It’s funny how our bodies change with age. At 63 I find I just can’t eat as wide a variety of foods anymore but I feel so much better and as long as I can keep my normal body weight at 100 lbs and still walk 3-5 miles and lifting 30-40 lbs daily I am still getting stronger.

    It works, too!
To validate Dr. Gottfried, there are many people who "age backwards" or "stay the same age".
In each case, diet is extremely important.

Your name popped into my mind. Didn't know why until I saw this.
No,,, I've never heard of you before. Why do you ask?
Yes,,,, I lost twenty years of aging when I got my hormones balanced and took up eating healthy foods - with the attitude that food is medicine first. And maca was a big part of that.

Love this! It's always so fun to know more about Dr Sara's daily life!! And your pup is too cute! One thing - I have heard it's a digestive no-no to combine fruit with grains (in this case quinoa with blueberries) as it leads to a unwanted fermentation in the gut...I wonder if Dr. Sara has ever heard of this?

@@DrGottfried one other quick thing while I can ask. I have been taking Berberine for weight loss and my friend has found Berberine to really make a great difference to IBS symptoms but in the article you just sent it mentions the 8 week cycle being the safest way to use it does that apply to ibs people too because he is having such great results 2 months of taking it he didn’t want to stop taking it yet incase the symptoms return. Have you information regarding IBS patients dosages and duration? Or would that be the same 8 weeks on cycle as mentioned in your article?

Sad but true..... I looked for Dr. Sara on UA-cam for the first time after getting a copy of "Hormone cure" and found this video and I thought that I may have found the wrong dr. coincidentally with the same name. I kept looking back and forth between the picture on the cover of the book and the lady in the video. Gorgeous pic on the cover. Then I looked / listened to a video dated 2014 and saw the same beautiful lady on the cover. * I wondered: If she is working on looking younger, what happened in just 3 years? She looks great; however, in the face area looked 10+ years older. Maybe it is just in the hair style and color....this dark color looks too harsh on such a gorgeous lady. For me, now seeing this, I will lighten my hair color one shade lower and keep on eating healthy - - Organic bone broth helps to add back into the skin collagen that is lost through the years.

Women around 50 going through menopause can change a lot. It's just not the same even with the same diet. Or the same diet is just not fitting for women in 50s
