Yes, another Guy & Marian video! LOL I couldn't help it, after hearing the audio book "The Witchfinders" narriated by Richard Armitage, I HAD to make a video based on it. It has a twist in my video, which was Marian's last wish of Guy. I think you will get the concept by watching it! :-) They should have made The Witchfinders audio book INTO AND EPISODE for season 3!!
I think I challenged myself in this video and I hope it paid off! It is a sad one folks! I seem to like the emotional sad videos lately. Does that mean something? LOL I really love this song I used and when I heard it it touched me and made me want to make this video. The song is "My Skin" by Natalie Merchant.

Sorry it has taken me two months to make a video I have been sick twice and had a dance concert I was in so real life gets in the way as I am sure you all understand! LOL

Yes I totally agree Suzy! Like he said in season two "Without her my world may as well turn to ash" and IT DID!! Poor Guy!! I miss these two together as well and I felt we didn't get the closer we needed. I think Richard should have been the writer and had Guy & Marian get married like he said! WAY MORE INTERESTING!!

GAH!!! And the angles you've put on some of the clips for the chorus, the fades and glows, the little details like a backwards run of Isabella taking Guy's hand to show her as Marian, her "ghost"- IT'S. WOW. PURELY ROMANCE.

I really loved how subtle and emotional this one was Heather! Wow! The song -the choice of scenes etc ! Lovely! Also love the effects! Sort of reminded me of the effects in your N&S memories video! :D 10 stars! :D

This is Fantastic Heather! So beautiful, touching, amazing!!! I would give it 100 stars if I could! I loved the voiceovers! And Guy and Marian- I miss their chemistry/plot! He is so much darker this season, which I also love! 5* and in my faves! Loved the ghost effect, and all the clips and editing! This is I think my favourite of all of your video so far, and it is so hard to choose, believe me- they are all just PERFECT in every respect! Have missed your viddding so much! Glad you're back!

First of all, I want to thank you for making this video. It is just absolutely beautiful and perfect. I also want to thank you for introducing me to The Witchfinders because I absolutely love it. The combination of the book, this song and these particular clips make this the most exceptional video I have ever seen. Months after seeing it for the first time, it still brings a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes. Beautiful, simply beautiful!
Amazing video- really touching, you're right the song is beautiful and I loved how you incorporated the audiobook along with clips from the show. I think I'm beginning to love Guy's character even more now I'm watching videos like this... he's a lot more complicated than I think a lot of people give him credit for. Awesome video.

This is a masterclass in storytelling as well as editing and you should be so proud of it. Every now and again I like to re visit your old work Heather. I love your RA vids and this one makes me want to watch Robin Hood all over again......I still miss Guy :(
This is the best Guy and Marian video I've seen...and I've seen quite a few. The song is perfect, your editing is superb. I imagined the entire third season Marian's ghost haunting Guy. As much as I thought I'd hate the third season without Marian there to try to save Guy's soul, it turned out to be wonderful, though heartwrenching, to watch Gisborne redeem himself.
I can't wait :). Seriously, it's amazing and I watch it multiple times a day. Lol.

My god, this video is a work of genius. The effects are amazing (especially the ghost Marian ones), and I love that you used sound clips from Witchfinders. I will be watching this over and over for sure.
Beautiful video! Richard is such an amazing actor that in the end of season 2, despite what Guy did, i felt sorry for HIM (and not really the others), and in season 3 I feel such compassion for him (and i'm only in the beginning of season 3 and believe it will only get better). The poor man was betrayed so badly, Marian was an excellent manipulator. Guy was right when he said that her stubornness was going to kill her.
Magnificent! Loved your editing, transitions, effects, clips used - all fit song/ dark mood of despair so well! Also loved the idea of Marian as a ghost haunting Guy! :) Very well done (as always)...

Gorgeous video! I always felt Marian manipulated Guy through the love he had for her...she taunted and tormented him in life and continues to do so in death...and your video tells their story so beautifully.
This video is stunning beautiful! It made my heart ache....but I loved every second of it! Bravo!!
This is so moving, poignant and masterfully edited. The relationship between the lyrics and the partnering video clips was not patronising to the watcher and you managed to capture a true tenderness between these characters. The sound bites were used to great effect, adding depth to this beautiful representation of a couple that sadly never had the chance.
This is absolutely lovely - I really enjoyed both your storytelling and your divine editing. Some lovely effects here, that enhance the story and don't distract from it. Fab!

AMAZING! You are very talented.The song fits perfectly, every word matches with the clips, great great job! And Guy's voice is so sad and touching. You have captured his soul, all his sorrow in losing Marian. So deep and profound! Good choice begining the video with him killing her, it gives the perception that something broke in his heart the moment she stoped breathing and he could never recover. That's true love! And ending it with Guy killing the sheriff as the one who destroyed that love!
WOW, you have really outdone yourself on this one. It is fantastic. It is so sad and beautiful. It really stirs the emotions . I am so glad you used his song. I have thought for along time it would fit a Guy video.

OMG This is amazing. And I don't just say that to anyone-- lots of vids watched by me, and I know a great one when I see it...the ghost bits (esp the spoken line about Marian haunting) were perfectly timed and arranged, the song fits Guy perfectly-- I was awestruck by his story in S3, it was the main redeeming part of the S3 (in more than one way)...
I love it. Being here in America sucks because they haven't even started showing it yet. So this was a nice little video to make me watch it even more.

Had to come back for another viewing- this is just so fantastic. The superimposed video clips, the timing of them as well makes this video blossom like their relationship once did. Such an excellent song choice for them too and the high quality clips make it look all the more professional, even though I'm sure it would have looked just as professional had you chosen low-quality clips. There is a beautiful ribbon of story in this that flows throughout and ties a bow around the heart. Love. It.
That's ingenious! I don't know this ... series I guess it is... But I just love how you create your videos. How you arrange scenes, make them go with the music, use effects which fit perfectly and are not overdone. It's just incredible!
