- Quick video to introduce the next project i’ll be working on - 1994 VW T4 transporter 2.4 diesel AAB.
I dragged this van out of a field where it sat for many many years and as a result it is extremely rusty!!

Good luck with the restoration mate. I'm deep into the metal work on my t4 which has kept me very busy. But I believe every vw van deserves another chance at life 😊

Its 2 far gone i know from experience welding my 92 astra its never ending once you start and that was back in 2008.😅

Just bought same motor, same year, same mileage. Body work is in good condition but exhaust smoking a bit... was reassuring to hear you say the engines are good. Mine has only done 50 miles since MOT last Oct 2023.... so I'm hoping this will resolve with a few good runs... do you have any advice please mate, I'm not a mechanic and could do with some good reassuring news. Previous owner reckons the engine was re-conned at some point...Many thanks
Take it for a good long thrashing, diesels need that every now and then. Short trips not so good for the injectors

where did you get the sliding door rail.
Just from ebay, its for a rhs sliding door but can be adapted to fit the lhs

Hate to say it but it's too far gone. Ide walk away from that. Scrap it for parts.
