Yeah........they sent me an update to the firmware which made it a little better to operate to produce in Maschine. Still isnt the same as the MK2 as you see in the vid I was going back and forth. A minor adjustment for some and maybe some don't care about that. Since the first vid, a little has changed but I need them to still do pads. I'm hopeful for the upgrades they do in the coming future. As always I appreciate you coming through fam. Blessings! 💯

Honestly.......yes and no. You can use any midi controller to "trigger" sounds, one shots, etc. But if you are an avid user of NI then you get the benefits of what comes with it. No not at all. You don't need Maschine to use Drift Theory or any NI expansion. As long as you have a DAW that you can drag and drop wav files in you are good! You don't even have to use Kontakt if you wanted! Appreciate you coming through and checking out the vid and the channel. Hope it helps! Blessings! 💯
Nice video but this sounds terrible to my ears. It just sounds cheap. The lofi that we love (or its just me idk) is that lush lofi, that comes from old gear that used to be at the top of the technology of its times and used to be extremely expensive, or something in the middle. But this sounds like software downsampled ish, or very cheap digital hardware, that adds that ring metallic sounds when downsampled, that real good lofi old gear doesnt. You can make this type of lofi inside maschine downsampling and using that not even close mpc/sp emulations. Anyway at least it sounds new. I hope it doesnt blow up lol. New isnt always good. And Im a huge msxii fan and maschine user, I was waiting for a new msxii/NI collab, I hope they make a new one cause Ill pass this.
