No. I removed the light bulb from the cluster. To do it properly, you'll need to wire in a resistor to clear the fault and allow the passenger airbag to still function.
I could never figure it out. I was able to turn the cruse on, but couldn't get it to set the speed. I guessed maybe the wires were probably pinned wrong or maybe needed to add a ground. But I never got around to troubleshooting it.
@@RichardWeapons that steering wheel is very expensive. Do you think I could just use a $40 tanaka from Amazon? It had good reviews. Or any 6 bolt steering wheel with horn button I already ordered that same hub from RHDJapan.com for my 94 ls400. Your column looks the same so im hoping it works.
@@smartfeller1495 I don't suggest buying a cheap knock-off steering wheel. In the event of a collision, you can be very hurt because they typically break very easily due to being made from inferior quality materials and it could severely injure you. Do yourself a favor and invest in a authentic Nardi, Vertex or a Momo wheel. Stay away from cheap imitations. Check out Croooober.com for authentic JDM steering wheels at decent prices.

How do you set it to a certain speed? I got mine a couple days ago and I can turn it on but I can’t set it on a speed on the freeway

Yes, you shouldn't have any problem as long as the bolt pattern is same as Nardi
