@Aaron Saucedo when the bombs where dropped in Japan is when it started in my opinion. The paranoid delusions of men that had no right to hold such loftey possessions made catastrophically bad decisions, murdered thousands of innocent human being's all to prove a point. A point that had no merit as Japan was in a situation where it would have surrendered.
The psychology of creating such a destructive force and use it as some form of morally justified action is heinous. America after that was the supreme super power country, and millions have lost their lives at it's hand since.

Eisenhower was asked to run for president by both the Democrats and the Republicans. He chose the Republicans simply because he thought the country had been too long under Democratic administration under Roosevelt and Truman (though he had nothing against Truman) His post-war administration was called "The era of Good Feeling" for good reason.

Chris Howard It just blows my mind people couldn’t see that. Well, that’s what happens when the only candidate for the people is ghosted by the media, and backstabbed by the DNC. If not president, why not Vice President? It a compromise.

@@Caperhere Both you and Chris should know, if you were politically knowledgeable, that Bernie is an Independent. Because of his ego, by putting Hillary Clinton through a grueling primary race leaving her winded to fight the 😈, we got that 😈 as president. And what has Bernie Sanders accomplished in his thirty + years as senator?? Not much. Hillary has worked her behind off for women and children issues and more , for years. Bernie promised "pie in the sky" but knew theses promises we're never going to happen. Ideally, his thoughts on tuition free college , good healthcare for all, etc. were great but never in this Capitalist society. He knows this. Let's see what he does on the Labor board, is it,??

    "WAR IS A RACKET
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one International In scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives...
A RACKET is best described, I believe as something that is NOT what it seems to be to the majority of people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is really about.
It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many.
Out of WAR a few people make huge fortunes."

and who said that was not a socialist, a hippie, an anti-war activist but a republican president of the US during the cold war, what happened to the republican party, in this century they invaded afghanistan and iraq, opposed the nuclear deal with iran, they supported the saudi military intervention in yemen and the israeli apartheid of netanyahu, not to mention the nonsense that the democrats did in foreign policy, but the issue is how the party of lincoln and eisenhower became a proto-fascist party, which defends the war on drugs, the death penalty, the influence of Christian fundamentalism in politics, the war on terror, suppression of minority voting, opposes the removal of Confederate statues from public spaces, defends the "legacy" of the Confederates and condemns black lives matter, historic reparations, and the teaching of america's racist past in public schools, the party of the president who abolished slavery and the president who criticized the m-industrial complex military, became a neo-fascist party

Now a bomber (specifically just the stealth B-2 Spirit) is upwards of around $3.68 billion+ per vehicle (factoring in program costs) and would pay for over 176 modern-day high schools.... on top of that, the operational cost is around $230,103 an hour....
I did this little bit of math adjusting from 1997 to 2021 inflation just to put things into perspective for you guys. It's absolutely fucking disgraceful and insulting for that much money to be wasted on war. And that's just 1 aircraft. I dare not even jump into the F-35 program.......

The money spent on a single basic fighter aircraft like the F35 could pay for healthcare for 1000 Americans for 10 years. And that's before you factor in maintenance costs.
The US currently has about 500 of the F35 alone, and 1000s of other aircraft.
    F35s cost about $100M each.
Medicare costs about $10K per person per year.
