Ukrainian innovation is the envy of the world. Just hope they have patented their cutting edge stuff so they can capitalise on sales to others. After they win of course 👍
I hope they have not patented it. A patent is easy to copy. In my company I even made fake patents to lead the Chineese on the wrong track and kept the real invention as a company secret.
That “innovation” is driven solely by western $$$$ and tech from western military defense contracting, and is tailored down to the lowest cost possible, not the most effective. Every defense contractor in the world is using Ukraine to operationally test and refine their tech. That is a good thing, and exactly what Ukraine needs, but make no mistake those are western undertakings. The fact that Ukraine is rapidly employing it is still pretty impressive though.

There is a report with a North Korean refugee in one of our newspapers. He lost 10 kg weight in the first month of being in the army. They got rice, often mixed with soil. They had meat five times a year. During the 10 years of being a conscriptee they were not allowed to meet their family. Military training was during the winter days. They were allowed to shoot 6 bullets per year. They spent the rest of the year by working in agriculture and at constructions as unskilled worker.
We knew about the end of the pipeline contract long ago. Surely the PM of Slovakia did too. I can't help thinking the PM assumed/gambled/hoped that Ukraine would fall and everything would be business as usual. Merry Christmas Georgi. Problem is that russia has financed and bought a lot of western far-right politicians and parties plus also supported them with their social media disinformation apparatus.
