No negotiating with Russia. Ukraine needs to be victorious and contain Putin's imperialistic drives, with whatever maximal support can be obtained from Western allies- including the USA. 💪🇺🇦

    • @18_rabbit

yes! And 'can be obtained' is actually up to us, as to whether we're willing to start understanding economics and finance of our own Western nations (especially here in the U.S. where the average person has very little understanding of the economics and finance of how our government and investment systems work) and have false ideas about austerity, which in nations like the U.S. is nonsensical at times like now.

Yes! Beginning at about 34:00 the true genius of Kuleba emerges with regard to accepting less than full sovereignty. Allowing pieces of land to be taken sets the stage for more being taken. Trump says the land is rubble and that is correct. But giving land in exchange for a temporary peace is accepting the process of being eaten.

    About Trump
When a clown moves into a place, he doesn't become a king. The palace turns into a circus.
The European Union already has an anthem and a currency (euro) a political and administrative structure. All that's missing is a common army. Ukraine and other new members will soon join.

@ Always the same. The uneducated who failed to realize how wars would end - attack those who foretold it! Then, what is even worse, instead of learning from their mistakes, they repeat them! Vietnam taught us a valuable lesson. Those lessons were applied to the Iraq I War which was a total victory. But then hubris overtook us giving us the failures of Afghanistan, Iraq II and now Ukraine. Wars where the lessons of Vietnam were not even considered. Wars of Idealism unbalanced by Realism. Wise men such as Kissinger warned against such wars. But the Neoconservatives, blinded byIdeology, dove head first into the abyss.

Dmytro Kuleba resigned from his position as Ukraine's foreign minister following an announcement from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that a cabinet reshuffle was imminent
During the war, Kuleba has been second only to Zelenskyy in carrying Ukraine's message and needs to an international audience, whether through social media posts or meetings with foreign dignitaries. Kuleba became the highest-ranking Ukrainian official to visit China since Russia's full-scale invasion started in February 2022.
Since taking office in 2020, Kuleba has been a key figure in Ukraine's efforts to fight off Russia's full-scale invasion, travelling across the world to secure allies and mobilise support from the country's international partners

Russia is only gaining a little land - temporarily. Russia is losing thousands and thousands of people, a massive amount of oil and gas infrastructure - some of it irreplaceable, Russia's economy is all but destroyed. True Russian inflation rate is more than 20%. To get a grip on that level of inflation it needs interest rates of 50% or more. And on and on. The odds of a collapse are much greater for Russia than Ukraine if western allies hang in there. That isn't Ukraine losing.

How are you gonna market that to the western tax payer? "Fund UA until the RF internally collapses". And how long would that take? How much are we gonna have to spend? What are the risks of the RF collapsing with its 6000 nukes? As for now, no one is gonna win an election saying "We're gonna fund UA indefinitely to fight an expensive and bloody war of attrition with no clear end in sight".

Mr Kuleba, Do you want a strategic defeat for Russia? Do you know or not US never win any war it waged around the four corners of the world? You are fighting this war for the past 3 years plus with the full support of US and its NATO allies. More than 358 billion USD spend on this war. Yet you loose 20 to 25% of your territory, more than 150, 000 soldiers killed and more than 300,000 soldiers maimed. Dont know how many civilians lost life? Did you gain anything to show your own citizen in anyway? You bring in untold sufferings to whole of EU and the rest. The WEST can keep talking about defeating Russia, but listen to the loud voice coming from the REST. "The western empire is in its downfall".

One way disinformation succeeds is for idiocracy to take hold. First of all, US money in Ukraine: $64.1 billion since 2014. Most of that money went to US Manufacturing companies to make weapons. So, stop the bs. US has not given 300 f....g billion. Only idiots will say this bs.

“Listen, politics is a power game…”. This gentleman doesn’t really care about Tatarov, Ermak, their excessive influence, corruption scandals in UA, numerous mistakes made by Ze president and his team. How they prepared country for the war from 2019 until 2022, where they spent most of the state budget’s money (spoiler - road construction, instead of army), endless corruption scandals in the inner circles of Ze president. Of course he doesn’t want to mention anything of that kind, he was part of this incompetent and populist team. Once he said that Ukrainian soldiers would be ready to fight the war with shovels. Now he is in the US, fair away from the frontlines, going to give lessons. Hmm, would he be ready to show how to fight the war, holding the shovel? I don’t think so, as he is a great expert in endless blablabla…

Politicians in Ukraine are paying too much attention to NATO. Ukraine will not be in NATO in the foreseeable future. There are simply no people in NATO willing to accept the tremendous risk of inviting a country that is at war with Russia, and second, there are no people in NATO willing to alienate Russia.
They prefer things that only work to some degree, namely, sanctions plus enough weapons to slow down Russian progress toward Kyiv. After so many rounds of sanctions, Russia still works. It will not collapse tomorrow or next week.
Also, assuming that Russia may reach a point of realizing that losing so many soldiers at the front lines, it may start to change its mind is simply false. Russia will not stop because it's an evil country, and evil does not give up unless it is nearly destroyed to the point that it can barely function anymore. This is not a point of view supported by NATO.
So basically, drop the NATO narrative; it's getting very dull and unproductive.

If Ukraine doesn't join NATO, there is too high a chance that Ukraine War 2.0 will occur at a future time. Ukraine cannot risk that.

One would think, listening to this interview, that everything is hunky dory in Zelensky land. This guy undoubtedly has squirreled away his stash in a swiss bank, like most of the Ukrainian government officials. He talks about democratizing Russia and inhabits a land that is ruled undemocratically, its presidental and legislative elections cancelled indefinitely. The painful defeat he talks about will be the Uktainian government’s. This man is a pawn of the West and betrays his own people.

32:16 a very big stretch on first point. NATO membership prevents a war, but Putin will attack NATO, but NATO with Ukraine is a different story.
    Great interview though!
