This report is spot on. I did this road in mid-September this year, 2022 (WR250R, loaded with camping gear). It threw me all over the road. There were hikers on the road and I was barely in control. As OSJ says, "just hanging on." At one point around a corner I meet two elderly ladies walking down, one with a cane and in the middle of the road. I went to the right as far as possible only to find even bigger rocks hidden in the grasses. I could have hurt someone. On the descent I was again just hanging on and the bike was being thrown around such that I accidently juiced the throttle, twice. Near disaster!. At the bottom I had two instant feelings. One was that this road is "unnecessary" for the NEBDR. The second was the giddy feeling of survivor's glee, a sure sign that I know darned well I had been lucky. Lose your focus on this, especially the downhill, and....
Thanks! Open Street Map says CR3 for "Country Road 3." I haven't done it yet, but there is another very difficult part of Section 4 East of Tyson VT that we were glad to survive with only scratches a weeks ago. Copper Mine Road on Section 5 was not passable due to a deep rutted muddy hill.

Elevator shaft was an epic cardio workout for me! I'd go back on my GS 🤪
I've got a video of Section 2 as well. The camera lies, that's all I can say, haha! Great job on the trail.
