  • A 1999-batch IFS officer and an authority on wildlife management and laws, Surender Mehra, has vast experience working in Protected Areas including his stint as Field Director of the world-famous Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR). Working to protect the rich faunal wealth of the Corbett & other forest areas and to reduce human-animal conflict in that region and other parts of Uttarakhand, Mehra aims to protect the wildlife and ensure the strengthening of the corridors to further protect the Wilderness landscapes. He has also served as D.I.G, National Tiger Conservation Authority, and contributed to shaping Tiger Conservation policy and initiatives at National Level.
