- I present to you the song most requested to me over the last few months: Lost One's Weeping!
Lotsa raw emotion in this one, yup yup.
So here's the story with this song: I chose to cover it back in November, back when I still used my ol' Guitar Hero microphone. I could never get the cover to sound "right", though, plus I didn't know how to mix properly, so I scrapped it.
But man, I wanted to give back to you guys for all your love and support - so I figured I'd give it another shot. I poured a lot of pent-up emotions into this one, so I hope I can get those emotions across with this cover! I also hope I did this song justice because hoo boy, this song means a lot to me personally too.
Also RIP to my throat. You guys, I'm an alto and this song is like, "You think you can hit that note wELL TRY AGAIN--"

This is my favorite cover tbh. It's not vocally perfect but that doesn't make it unlistenable like some other ones. Also it's not pitched too high. Most of these girls sound like they're screeching. Hurts my ears. Like, I'm aware the original song is high but if you need to pitch it down there's no shame in that.

This is the best English cover I've ever heard of this song. The beginning seemed a bit rocky, but all those high notes were hit very well without being painful and there was still a lot of emotion! This is super good, seriously!

You sound so great! :D To be honest, I kind of prefer Alto versions of this song, because a lot of other people just give up and start screaming. Yes, Neru's lyrics are really "in your face" and meant to be sang loudly... But still, they are meant to be *sang*. Here, I can understand what you're saying and I didn't need to turn down the volume. That'd be enough for me for a song like that, but then you go and absolutely *nail it*, so I'll just casually listen to this in repeat for a few hours. lol ^_^
