I bought mine yesterday for 159 €. It's actually a really nice budget smartphone and it looks very good. Sure, it's not the fastest sometimes but as someone who does not play games on the phone and stuff i could not care less. It does what it needs to do and thats all. I like that we currently have a good selection on budget smartphones since not everybody can afford to pay over 500 € for a new phone. Especially with the current crisis going on...at least in Europe.
Just ordered one for my best mates first smartphone. I'm a pixel user and a big fan of stock Android so bought him this as it's close to a pixel experience and I'll be able to give him a crash course on it more easily. I don't think he'll be disappointed with my choice for him as he won't be a power user and doesn't game.
people expectation from smartphones are sky high right now . I remember my first phone with colour screen . This one looks like spaceship comparded to it :D

This is a nice little phone, had mine a couple of weeks now and it does what I need it to. I much prefer it to my frankly awful Xiaomi redmi note 9, that kept switching itself off and not taking photos when I wanted it to. It's good to see Motorola have started putting magnetometers back in their budget phones too, so apps requiring a compass work. My only bugbear is that no basic protective gel case is provided with this phone, none were available locally when I bought the phone either because of it being a new model. I've already got a nice crack in my screen, which I'm rather peeved about. Good no nonsense review Tech spurt!

Hot take: considering the size of that chin, I'd rather there are two symmetrical bezels on the top and bottom instead of a hole punch selfie cam. Kinda like my Pixel 3 here, which have the speakers front firing as well.
Well i was blown away when i went shopping the other day and i got an offer to buy this phone for as little as 100 Euros, this is great to hand over too ya kids or even relatives of older age, the phone does a brilliant job and its a phone that have the level of potency as when we got the new samsung s20 and people were wild and crazy about paying top dollar for that, now 2 years later here we go, all packed with those specs more than efficient enough for day to day use, but if you are a phone snob and wants the latest and greatest save up your bucks for a better choice, hands down 100 euro is a freaking bargain, i have 2 of those using it for camera surviliance monitoring so its great for the price. thanks Moto for this choice, how they even make money on this is a great mystery to me, when thinking about it.
The problem with Motorola right now is that they bring out so many phones that the one you've just bought is an old model within a few months and you end up feeling a bit cheated.
I like! 6.5" screen, 4Gb Ram, 64Gb internal storage, why that sounds just like my Nokia 3.4 only thing is that I wished the camera chassis was centered , now days with more phones carrying almost the same specs for a given price point all that stands out and entices me is the styling , and I still really love the karate chop thingy

Love me some Moto G, had the first gen and currently have the G7 power. Still works fine despite being dropped for quite a few times. Got me hooked due to the battery for my Pokemon Go. No need for powerbanks. Unfortunately, the new Moto phones aren't available in my area anymore, even the Lenovo shops don't display them. It kinda forced me to graduate from Motorola.

@@mayurshinde6631 yeah, I believe you are talking about the edge 20 fusion 5g. moto is great but the issue is it doesn't give expandable storage (which I definitely need) and it's cameras seen slightly weaker to me in comparison of the infinix. Plus infinix is super fast in terms of memory and ram.

Just brought yesterday on £119.99 yes it was £140 before ...discount because of cristmaxxx. 50 mp cam on back front 13 mp.. One unique feature of this moble is finger print security feature is on side of the phone. Its on on/off botton which is really cool. It gor NFC, 6.56 screen good for gaming n movies..enought storage interal and can use m card. Trust me guys it worth buying im so happy with this product. Budget friendly. Big screen 6.56 50mp cam 13mp on front NFC Finger print security What else do i need. Good luck guys and thank me later.

I love Motorola because it has never let me down, they have the best battery and software, it is the brand that lasts me the longest 🤗👍, compared to the Samsungs that were quite bad for me 😞

Wait for Samsung galaxy A73 to come out, trade your s6 in directly with Samsung you'll maybe get £150 ish off. This will bring the phone down to somewhere in you price range easily. They just did this deal with the A53 for pre-orders. That deal has now finished, I'm sure they will do the same when they release the A73... Good luck
For the amount of phones Motorola puts out it's a real shame they can't be bothered to support the software on their e-waste longer than it takes for the battery to drain on it's first cycle.
Why not? I had a Motorola g8 power lite. Decent phone, dependable, very long battery life. And the screen doesn't scratch easy either. Or you can buy ones barely used on eBay for £104?
@@andrewjohnson1486 That's fine, but the issue is unlocking to install custom roms. Qualcomm chips work fine, MediaTek not so much. And with such a short support cycle, that's the only value Motorola phones can have. Custom roms is where it's at. Device freedom!

I bought my moto G 5G plus 2 years ago for 180 Euro's. Switched off the 5G because it uses to much of the battery. The update policy of Motorola sucks but there hardware is ok for the price they ask. I wanted to keep using my G 5 G but the last security update is from July.
i have my g22 for a 1.5 months and i have to say it was bad decision buying this phone. Its so much laggy and its more laggy than my three year old moto e6 and i have no games on it.

Moto G22 is a pretty good thing for the budget buyers. The smart camera section and the Mediatek chipset look really awesome.

I know processor and RAM looks a bit crappy but 5000mah, SD 1TB, 90HZ and Android 12 for sub 150 quid is pretty damn impressive in my opinion

The Moto G52 has just been unveiled and it looks awesome. Can't think of a single downside with that one.
Moto smartphones are already doing great with Mediatek chipsets and I think Motorola should prefer Mediatek only.
