    While there are a lot of good editors in the UA-cam space, Javier is hands down the best teacher of them all. I think this guy can explain quantum mechanics to me and I'd understand it straight up. Keep up the good work my man and greetings from Bulgaria!

      Little did you know that I actually have a 2nd channel explaining just that! …jk😅. I did minor in physics in college though. Once our curriculum got to how electrons and neutrons react in a magnetic flux my brain had reached its capacity to understand things. Thanks for the kind words Crimson!

      hahahaha I'm glad you stuck with editing instead of pursuing physics. I've always had a passion for film and video editing and I recently started it as a side hustle and your channel is an absolute gem. Really appreciate your work!@@JavierMercedes

    Love the “give the effect away for the pros at the top of the video” approach! Stuck around for the details after that. Cool to watch this channel evolve. Well done!

    This is probably the most straight forward and easy to understand screen replacement tutorial I have ever seen.

    This is so valuable, when I am doing hair tutorial videos I often get really frustrated with myself when I catch the camera or lights in the mirror. I'm going to use this technique to mask the mirror and put some kind of message on it instead. Really valuable video JM Thank you.

    Javier can you please explain what shortcuts you use to scroll like at 4:57? Thank you!

      I’m just clicking and dragging

    • @Tvojamamaje
      @Tvojamamaje 10 місяців тому

      Okay, thank you. I do small adjustments on my videos, and when I click it and start to drag slowly.. it is like I am hitting an invisible wall.. and than at one point it releases and my cursor flies making me overshoot way too much. in your videos just seemed to me that you are doing it efforlessly.

    great video Javier! Question for you on the green screen examples...wouldn't it be easier to use ULTRA Key and remove the green, the drop your footage into the layer below your green screen device then use CORNER PIN for the right placement...then you don't have to worry about nesting and finding the exact aspect ratio?

    • @JavierMercedes
      @JavierMercedes  10 місяців тому +1

      You would still run into the same issue of having anything that isn’t the same aspect ratio look off or skewed. You can still do it, but nesting and using the proper resolution will make the proportions always look right.

    Thank you. Enjoying your channel. I purchase a stock footage and the camera focused on the computer screen moves so how do I keep the image on the screen, also how do I get rid of the four "+" on the green screen?

    I think I'm missing something, what's the purpose of the green screens if they get replaced with the corner pin effect?

    • @JavierMercedes
      @JavierMercedes  10 місяців тому

      The rounded corners of a phone or tablet, the image sits perfectly within them. You can’t get something like that with a rectangle on top of the phone. Also green screen allows you to put your hands in front of the screen easily without having to mask it out like I show at the very end of the video.
