The creepiest thing that's happened to me is when I went round my best friends house for the first time when I was 11. She told me that I might get woken up during the night because her neighbours kept having sex in the next house and that created a thumping noise. The day was fun we stayed at her house and watched movies whilst her older brother stayed in his room. Later her parents came home with take out and we sat a the dinner table my chair had me sitting with my back facing the cupboard under her stairs and I felt like someone was watching me from behind. That night I was woken by banging and instead of it coming from next door it was coming from the stairs I told my friend this and her face went pale. She told me not to talk about it because it would make the 'sad girl' angry. She then told me that in the 1970s a man kidnapped a young girl and locked her in the cupboard, she starved to death and she's haunted the house ever since. Every night the banging happens and every time someone talks about it, doors slam and things fall of shelves and everything gets worse. She told me that it was her neighbours so I wouldn't say anything to make it worse. I spent the rest of the night in the corner with the covers pulled over my head, shaking.
Every time someone mentions it things get worse. A couple of minutes after she told me her bedroom door creaked open and as if the thing knew I was looking at it, it slammed the door and I heard footsteps running down the stairs. I spent the rest of the night in the corner of the room, shaking and crying because I was so scared. I never went back and they moved out a couple years later because her mum fell down the stairs and supposedly her cousin had actually gone in the cupboard the previous day and started shouting and swearing at the thing.
That sounds fucking HORRIFING, honestly I have some pretty strong pride so if that happened to me I would feel compelled to tell the thing to fuck off

Dan Marsh In short. A party was going on and my cousin and I wanted to smoke so we went up the hill (Midnight), When we were chatting about some stuff we heard a rustle in the bushes, when we looked there was a half naked man with his throat slit, we wanted to help but he ran into this unfinished shack my uncle worked on. The shack had no windows and only one entrance. At the time I wasn't a believer in ghosts so I thought we misjudged where he ran because it was dark as hell. My cousin however was religious and said it was a ghost so a month later he sent me a text with a pic. He dug up the ground by the shack and found skull fragments and teeth, also found evidence that many years ago that hill was a common place to execute rebellious slaves

Reading that reminded me of an experience I had in elementary school.
I was in third grade, I was nine at the time. I had just got done in the bathroom stall, to find a woman, probably in her late twenties nearly just outside it. I didn't think anything of it at the time, didn't question an adult female in the little boys room.
She asked me if I "Wiped until there was no brown" I told her yes, and she said that she didn't believe me, and she wanted me to go back into the bathroom stall. There was another boy in the restroom, using one of the urinals. He walked out without washing his hands, and she didn't stop him... but once he left, she let me pass... but seemed angry.
The thing is... this is never something I've thought about before... it never crossed my mind until today.... I don't remember recognizing that woman as a teacher. I had never seen her before that day.

Three really paranormal/spiritual things have ever happened to me.
When I was 11 I was new to my scout troop and went on my first hike with them. Near a river, about 40 feet off the path was a single concrete wall with an upside down cross spray painted on it along with other things like "Hail Satan" (idk exactly what it said; it was a long time ago). Some of us went up to it and noticed the air around the inverted cross was cold and we immediately ran back on the path.
The second was maybe three summers later at summer camp. The campground was near the site of a native American massacre from around 1839 (somewhere around there). Rumor has it the natives' spirits haunt the woods at night. One 70-80 degree night I raised my arm above my head and felt a dramatic temperature difference. I kept putting my hand up and down, feeling the 40-50 degree temperature difference. It was the middle of the campground. The nearest air conditioner or refrigerator was at least a quarter mile away. There's no scientific explanation for it. I remember being more amazed than scared that time.
The third time I was on the annual spiritual retreat with my youth group. During adoration we are all in a dark room in front of the Monstrance and I s@#$ you not, Jesus's face appeared over the Monstrance for about 20-30 seconds! I remember being overcome with a combination of awe and a relaxing, calming feeling. I know it wasn't a hallucination cuz afterward everyone was talking about how they all saw it!

About two years ago, my guy friends grandmother passed away. Shortly after her passing, my older guy friend - who we will call Max - had been woken up by light shining in his face. Still groggy, but somewhat alert, he saw a figure standing over him. He couldn't make out any features because of the way the light spilling from the hallway fell on the figure. The figure stood over him for quite some time before leaning over and kissing his forehead. The figure left the room, Max assuming it was his mother, especially because his father wasn't home that night.
The next morning, he was shocked to find out his mother had never entered his room that night, and his brother had experienced a hand hitting his leg pretty hard.
Ted Bundy was probably more scarred by the guy thinking he saw the body and just left like nothing happened

This is a ghost story that happened to me that made me super happy. So at my school we don't have very good teachers but we had a really good teacher. I can't recall what she taught. One day we got news that she died. We were all super depressed. The teacher that died also was in charge of the play. I joined the play the year she died and we all took a picture together. On the picture we saw a ghostly figure. When we looked at the face it looked just like the teacher. I found it so cool that she would stick around for our play even in death.

Mihael Mello Keehl A few days ago I had no power, service, OR wifi for 3 FUCKING DAYS! AND A HALF!
Number 1 is funny. Because my choir director has a story related to Ted Bundy. So she was really young, probably in her 20s. She lived in Salt Lake City for a few years, and usually went to parties. One time her friend invited her to a party, and she went. She talked with a man not far from her age and they talked for about 5 minutes. He seemed average enough, and never was rude. He said his name was Ted, and my director left the party without any thought of who she met, because she usually met a lot of people at the parties. She was enrolled in the University of Utah by the way, and this was a school party. This was before the start of his breakdown. So just a few years later she was watching the news, and saw a man come up on the news. He was said to be a serial killer. My choir director's jaw dropped as she recognized this total stranger from years ago which is apparently now an infamous serial killer. To this day she tells the story, and laughs at it, but I know that at that time, she was glad she didn't get to know Ted.
+I Sir Laughsalot My mother ran into him in a tavern in Washington. She remembered the cold, dead, eyes, and the look that said, "If you were only younger". Years later, some tribal friends of mine said he followed them (Long, dark, hair---parted down the middle), all the way to the beach, where they met with their very large boyfriends (eventually husbands), and he disappeared. A customer of mine was a 'party guy', but if he was crossed, you'd see a dark cloud cross his face, smile replaced by anger. Years later, I worked with him at another restaurant...same thing. He'd play pranks on me, and if I didn't fall for them, he'd get angry. Turns out he has an anger management issue, and control, possession, etc. Turned out he was killing his ex girlfriends after they broke up with him. Only reason he got caught is one survived to say, "David hit me". She's still disabled from the beating he gave her with a hammer. Another friend of mine was asked out endlessly by the I-5 Killer, and locally, we had another serial killer that, in a small town, who doesn't have stories about. Bizarre, strange stories. Her kids would go to school and say, "My mommy is killing people and burying them in the back yard!" The authorities did nothing. She'd take in homeless people, and mentally break them down, starving them, giving them rotten food, making them work outside barefoot, in their underwear, in winter. By the time they caught her, she'd burned the remains of at least two victims, and dumped them at the river, and they did find ONE body, still buried in the back yard.

In the middle of the video my phone vibrated and I was like TAKE ME, DEMONS
It was some time in june, 2008. I was only 6 years old and didnt understand much about what happened.
I was at my first sleepover with my friend. They lived in the shady part of the town i live in. It was about six o' clock at night and we were running around the neighborhood. When we were running i stopped and noticed on old beat down house that looked like it was abandoned. We got scared when we saw it, and ran back to the house. The next day i woke up early in the morning at about five. I didnt want to wake up my friend so i went down to their living room to watch tv. I looked out the window and saw the scary house with one light on and someone staring out. I immediatly got the chills and just started watching tv. When my friend woke up at about seven, i told him about what i saw, he thought i was joking around and we ate breakfast. He then suggested we play tag with two of his neighbors and i dont want to so i stay inside cause im scared to go out. Later, i hear gunshots. My friend comes running in (with no harm) and he started crying. He said there was a man in the house who had shot himself, but then i looked back at the house when i was leaving, and saw him looking out the window, with blood all over the windows... Im still horrorified

I have a story. However, It is not the creepiest, but It happened to me.
I was about 13 years old. I was home alone and I heard the door to my parent's room open and close although I did not hear anyone walk in. I went to my parent's room and saw a man with odd clothes on and grey hair mumbling something. You could see right through him but till this day I am not sure if he was a ghost or not. I was frozen in fear. I tried to scream but nothing came out. After him mumbling for like 5 mins, he turned around, looked me in the eye and said ''You will lose someone you love.'' Then I never saw him again. 1 week after that, my dad died.

Here's something that happened to me back when I was a few months old. Ps this is according to my mom
Back when I was a few months old, my mom was very sad. It was the anniversary of the day she came to the US. Now, my mother, her father, and her siblings had all come to America, years before on that day. The only one that didn't come was my Grandma, whom I've never met. So on the anniversary, my mom got word that my Grandma had died. Supposedly, she cried all day. Fast forward a few months to maybe August of the next year, and I'm just a few months old. My mom is holding me in her bed, cradling me slowly. *It's at night btw* All of a sudden, my mom gets sad again, just as she did back when my grandma died. All of a sudden, she sees my grandma, except it's a much younger version of her. My grandma smiles and my mom is crying a lot now. She extends her arms out to my grandma, while holding me, to let her look at me. My grandma nods and slowly disappear.

I have a story. It's not scary, but it's unusual.
I was reading on my bed one day, when my cat walked in and stared for minutes on end at the cord to a lamp I had plugged in. He then lunged forward, grabbed the cord in his teeth and yanked it from the outlet. I cussed him out and plugged it back in, but he kept unplugging it. I finally threw him out of the room and plugged my lamp back in once more. That night, the lamp flicked on for no reason at about midnight. It then continued to flicker and then I had to get up and turn it off. The next day, the lamp sparked and shorted and it was as good as garbage. My mom said that if I hadn't of been in the room when the lamp shorted, it would've caused a fire.
