I love it when Billy says try to stay out of trouble and Eliot nods but then says no sir. One of the most touching and beautiful scenes I've ever seen.❤❤ #proudtobeakaniac
This is just one of the best scenes Christian Kane has ever done. You can tell that he really felt this one and Keith David helped him hit it out of the park. I hope they bring Keith back around for another episode. It was Christian that picked and wanted him for this role way before the episode was ever written.
So nice to see an “estranged family” story end on a hopeful note when so much of TV goes for depression these days. They did the same thing with the season 1 finale of Almost Paradise, a hopeful note.
like in the almost identical role of the same actor in the librarians he knew that who he was talking too was not his father cause he said something halfway nice to him . . .
"Hey Eliot. What smells like a fracking rig and screams like a girl?" A nice little call back to the original series' episode with the corrupt judge and the bank robbery where Eliot used a similar line.
This episode and the episode before this have been some of my favorites. This is because of the frog conservation element in the episode before and the environmental element in this episode.
He cried in the original series too. When Hardison almost died when he was buried alive, when he had to relive the worst time of his life after he reunited with Damien Moreau. A bunch of times besides those as well.
I think this cry was more from relief/ happiness rather than sadness. But there could have been some of that too after losing his mom and hearing what his dad went through. This was such a sweet moment!
Man Alive! The moment I saw Keith David and Christian Kane's first scene together, I thought, "No way is one of The GOAT actor's Eliot Spencer's father. No way! No way!" And then the reveal?! I never lost it so bad!
Fun Fact Elliott's dad going to be mr t but cut not sure why but I may not have seen a-team but I pity the fool who didn't think that. But I like kieth David as Barricade 😼
I hate to say it, but I think the plots are the biggest problem. The writing and plotting is no longer there and it’s not only because the world has changed. The world hasn’t changed in the way the plotting and writing desperately wants us to believe and that’s a major handicap. Characters and characterization hasn’t taken as big of a hit, but it’s still noticeable, which bugs the hell out of me because this should work and just doesn’t quite do it.
"I'm proud of you" and Eliot immediately tears up, oh he needed to hear that
Did we ever see Eliot cry before this? I am just glad how openly emotional they let this moment be
I think Keith David was suited for the role of eliots dad. He under played the role and made it magical

This brought a tear to my eye. Keith and Christian nailed this.
One of the BEST Eliot scenes ever!!! Christian really knocked it out of the park. #proudtobeakaniac 💖💖💖

Yes. Another stellar episode. Man, I was tearing up with this scene. David and Kane were fantastic!
All time saw this end of episode I just crying 😢 with Eliot
I’m not crying…you’re crying….
“Try to stay out of trouble.”
“No, sir.”
“That’s my boy.”
"welcome to the cookout"😂
Keith David, the voice of GOD...can kick ur @$$!!
Voice of Goliath and Spawn
@@jaysonraphaelmurdock8812 yes!! But if God had a voice it won't be Morgan, it'll be Keith!!

The best episode in my opinion
Christian Kane was probably crying just thinking about his real life Dad he had just lost to COVID.
I didn't know that! 😢
@@jaysonraphaelmurdock8812 Yeah. He lost his dad in Dec. 2020 to COVID.
I didnt know that either. Damn
I can totally relate! Lost my best win high school in December 31 2020😢😢😢
Sorry friend.
This is my third time watching this clip and it still gives me butterflies!
never thought i'd ever see the day spencer cries

Christian’s work on this episode and this scene especially was brilliant
Keith David! HOLY $#!TBALL$!
This is awesome. I love that Eliot reconnected with his father.
Another one of My favorite scenes!🥺🥰
Dammit, Hardis.... dad. 😢
Such a great scene. Not crying 😢 ❤❤

Good scene! Powerful scene!
Nobody else could have played this man’s father
if they ever reboot Gargoyals they better cast Christian as "Sampson" (goliath and eliza's son)
I'm not sure they could produce offspring.
😢😢😢
Keith David is as brilliant casting
Cool 😎

man, everyone looks so old
uhuhuhuhuhuhh..........
I wonder, does Christian Kane sound like that all the time, or is that only his Eliot voice?
Was Eliot adopted?
Wow way to ask that question.
Elliot and Parker is the only reason to watch Leverage, the rest of the regular cast is horrible.
I miss Hardison.
