IMO, you should never use the "stomp method" or the "run/kick out" those are two very good ways to hurt your leg or go to fast, run out and fall on your face
thats some serious bullshit because unless you are extremely unathletic, the run/kick out is legit one of the best ways to stop it just looks goofy as hell

I clicked on this vid to find ways besides literally that after realizing what I was doing will skating but ig if I didn't want to scrape my knees I wouldn't have gotten a skateboard so we'll find out soon enough whether it's good
It's easier to learn with hard wheels, but it does work with soft wheels though. The shape also matters. Wheels with round edges are easier to slide than wheels with sharp edges
It depends on how experienced you are. If you can slide that would be your best option to slow down when going really fast. Down hill riders slide a lot to keep the speed under control.

It's pretty intuitive that's the best thing about skate/long boarding
I always stop foot braking (the very first one).. And I always thought it was bad o.o

For the slide out does it matter how hard/soft your wheels are?

Anything softer than 81a is really hard to slide

get harder bushings , tighten up your trucks .. crouch low.. pray to the first God you can think of.... thats what i know
