- "Diary Queen" is the twelth episode of season 32 of The Simpsons and the six-hundred and ninety-sixth episode overall.
It originally aired on February 21, 2021.
The episode was written by Jeff Westbrook and directed by Matthew Nastuk.
It guest stars Marcia Wallace as Edna Krabappel, via archive recordings, and Joe Mantegna as Fat Tony.
The scene with Edna fixing the tire, and then showing that Ned is holding up the car for her, really gets me. She didn't have to do it all alone anymore.
I feel so sad that Mrs. Krabappel is dead. She was one of my favorite Simpsons characters. 😔
Me too. She is nurturing and kind. She was close with Bart even though he gets in trouble
Atleast Edna got a happy ending and was happily married to Flanders.
Goodbye Mrs K. Goodbye Marcia Wallace. Thank you for cheering our lives these 23 years.

Like Phil Hartman, his characters's Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure both died with him. Marcia Wallace's Edna died with her as well.
R.I.P. I truly missed them. I was happy and sad that she "reprised" her role recently even if it is an archived voice. It was the same comment she made to Moe during that Storyception episode involving Gold coins.
Also, I found out that Martin Prince's voice actress died as well yet the voice replacement is by voice veteran actress Grey DeLisle.
Mrs. K was every Simpson fan's teacher. 😢😢 rest easy, Mrs. K... you taught us well.

I really wish they did an entire episode dedicated to her after she died and her death was a real blow to others like Bart, Ned, Skinner and Nelson.

You can totally see Bart upset about Edna's death. I bet he, Milhouse, Nelson, Ralph, Martin, Skinner, Chalmers and everyone else are upset about Edna's tragic death. And he's right... "We'll really miss you, Mrs. K." - Rest in peace, M. Wallace. 😔😔😔
She made a few appearances on Full House as well.

How she died?
Her voice actress passed away, so the simpson creators scrapped Edna from the show.
@@ElmoreDucks she was retired. They've acknowledged her death and incorporated into the show, they've honored her many times.
